Stable performance
When I first started using it, I encountered configuration issues on my phone (very slow, no internet access, but the indicator lights were working correctly). I eventually used a computer to access 192.168.1.1 and completed the basic setup. It basically worked fine, but after configuring the timer function, I experienced unstable internet access, which returned to normal after I disabled it. Another issue was the inconvenience of configuring on my phone, with frequent slow responses and inability to configure or view content. I use an iPhone 15 Pro Max. I hope this feedback helps you improve the product.

Worked for a few years
It worked good for about 5 years. Then one day it just stopped working. NETGEAR tech support was zero help unless I paid them $150 for the service plan, which is more than I paid for the router lol.

solution to home network
This router worked perfectly setting up a second network for our outdoor buildings. Now we are able to have internet access anywhere we go on our property.

It's perfect

Connects fine, filters don't work well
As far as connecting things to our router, it's very easy. Setting up the router was also very easy, and the Internet for the most part has been reliable. The thing that I'm frustrated with is the ability to turn off certain devices from connecting to the Internet. It used to work really well and it was great when I needed a child to not have access to the Internet through the device. However, in the past year, it's been glitchy. So I will turn off Internet to the TV and then the next day the Apple will be glitchy and can't login very well or when I go to turn on the TV again thanks and thanks. I never actually turns it on. Sometimes I have to reboot the router and start over to be able to get the Internet back on. Not a fan.

Unfortunately it was not compatible with Xfinity, nor with my blink cameras or weather station. In the end it was too late to return it so I ended up having to rent one from Xfinity.

Factory Reset Required
It is normal for one to lose internet once in a while. However, the last couple of times it was out for several days and did not come back until I did a factory reset and not just a restart.

So far so good
I've only had it a week and i am very pleased with it so far. I have not so good internet and the new router seems to help deliver my wifi though all devices with no problems.

Did not work for my setup it requires a coaxial cable and i did not have that you need to have a picture of the back of the unit so people don't buy by mistake. If you have the correct setup this product is great.

Netgear Router is Like the Enegizer Bunny
We have an older router (about 5 years old) - so it's not the latest in technology, but regardless, it keeps on going like a fast rabbit! Recently, we had a power outage which prompted us to update the router. The hardest part was deciding which App to download. After that, it was quick to identify our router model

Quality over the year
I've been using the NETGEAR R6400v2 for a while now, and I continue to be impressed by how well it holds up-even in 2025. Setup was straightforward and user-friendly, and the interface gives you just the right level of control without being overly complicated.

Great product
I have had this router for over 7 years. I have no problems with it. It still works as well as it did when I first got it! I have had to reset it once, and that was a quick and easy fix! Customer service walked me through a few buttons to push and it was back up again within seconds!

Great coverage
This router is the best we've ever purchased, offering a hidden network function, 2.4 and 5 GHz speeds that support both our legacy devices and the latest 5G phones, making the most of our high-speed internet. The coverage is excellent, with seamless auto-connecting and maintained coverage even when stepping outside. Notably, it provides the same coverage as our previous setup, which required one router and two access points.

NETGEAR AC1750
While initial setup needed the router reset twice, once setup was complete and setting my up repeater to the new router everything works nicely. the wireless communication on it works nicely.
overall i'd give the device a 4/5 just due from setup problems and the idea of needing to use the app that didn't want to work for setup.
