the range is far more than I imagined. My house is big and long and ends at the beach. The two one works great everywhere including with my feet in the water. It's hard to know if the master is on, the light goes off in front.

Awesome Mesh System

I am now getting all that I paid for with my internet speeds, no buffering, no drops and lost connections. It has made a huge difference well worth the money spent.

Full speed ahead

By that I mean, I am now receiving my full speed from Spectrum and not having any buffering, connection loss or issues in my home. Well worth the cost. The only downside is the size if that concerns you..

I am a longtime Netgear customer. Recently, I upgrade from a 3-pack Netgear MK63/AX1800 system to a 3-pack Orbi RBK853 system. The MK63 was working well, but I wanted something newer, and the RBK853 fit the bill. My WiFi is faster, and the wired connections are as well. Good upgrade!

This really exceeded my expectations, not only did it cover my large home, but also my barn in the back yard.

Outstanding!!!

As luck would have it, we were hit by lightning and my old RBK-50 lost all it's LAN and WAN ports with the surge around the house, among lots of other things...  The RBK-50 just had the main router and one satellite.  This RBK-850 had two satellites and it just opened up coverage all over the house and am taking full advantage of my 1Gb service.  A gentle nudge from mother nature never hurts..

Good Upgrade from RBK-50

The Orbi 583was a fairly simple transition from my older gear. I installed a new  Netgear  modem also. My speeds doubled on speed test compared to previous reads with my older system.

Quality Equipment

I have not experienced any problems since I first connect the Orbi to my modem. The steps to follow on connection procedure were clear and easy, along with the program to easily manage the Orbi operation.

Install wasn't to bad. WiFi improve greatly - meaning range and performance.  Impressed with the gear.  Bought the Orbi router and two satellites.

So far so great

This works better then our old Orbi rbr50.  Better coverage, no more drops, etc.  we love Orbi!  We have had it up for a week and other than a minor glitch in setup, works perfectly.

We live in a rural area where fiber optics isn't available and our home wifi just can't extend reliably across our 10 acre farm without help. We've tried extenders but they only do so much. We tried the Orbi mesh network and as soon as it was set up, I noticed significantly faster load times on my work computers instantly. Setup and installation were really easy, though it can take each satellite several minutes to connect so be patient. I already plan to add another satellite in our garage to get a stronger signal out to our barn, hopefully to support barn cameras so we can keep a better eye on our animals. This investment was a real win!

Game changer

So far so good. I replaced a 10 year-old Orbi and everything went very smoothly and it works fast.

Easy set up works great

I have used so many systems in the past and this is the only one with complete coverage and consistent speeds.  Only option in my opinion.

Finally a Wifi Solution!

This router so far seems to be almost twice as fast as the RBK 753, no more lagging with this bad boy, awesome!

Fast router

Moved into a new home.  Bought and deployed 3 x Orbi 7s.  Determined we needed another to provide coverage.  Orbi 7s no longer available.  Best Buy suggested adding an Orbi 8.  Purchased a base   satellite.  Took 2 months for Geek Squad to fit us in.  They worked for 2   hours before determining Orbi 8 is not backward compatible with Orbi 7.  Netgear refused to refund our money for the Orbi 8 because

Buy it new, dont buy it used. get it reigstered to yourself and the orbi support team will help you. once it is set up youll be very happy. currently running mine off our fios router. covering a large too
