Lightning blew out our 9 year old Netgear modem/router. I went immediately to find a new one. My son helped get everything going. Works great.

The device was easy to equip and set up , also speed and connection are top tier . you can't beat the price . Phone and internet service charge you and arm and leg to lease a box of theirs , when you can have your own and take with you if you ever move. Just ask your provider to add the service and you save so much more money

Our old router was fried from a bad storm - wanted to be safe and get a new modem and found this one that is a 2 in one!! It's been great so far - it was a little glitchy using the app to set up and took forever to save/connect to change the name of the WiFi but when I used my computer it was better. So far we are enjoying it and it's taking up less space and less cords which is a win!!

I like the duality of product, easy set up of actual product plugging in. Hassle to deal with registering to Xfinity, then had to call Netgear to get it online. Unfortunately I had no WiFi access or enough cell bars so I couldn't do all that online, kind of a Catch 22

I needed to upgrade my Wi-Fi and the Netgear Nighthawk was recommended. I put off changing the modem for a rainy day as it felt like something that would be painful and take all day. I am happy to report the set up was very easy and seamless and I was up and running great in no time.

It's so great. I don't know how they fit in such a small package. This modem/router is the best one I've ever had in my life. The Internet's always supreme and top-notch and never misses a beat no more lack spikes hip hip hooray.

Honestly. With the amount of interference that is in our current apartment, it does a okay job. The main issue is that there is occasional issues with MTU with my jobs VPN. This can cause issues with me connecting to work. I have attempted changing the MTU to meet and it still occasionally gives issues. Overall, it's okay.

Completely happy with this router have had for several years with no problems and bout to replace my mediacom device and can tell is way more high tech and user friendly than there equipment. Highly recommend this unit to anyone for gaming or business use.

The problem turned out to be our Mac computer, and when that was changed everything with the modem/router worked fine.
