Thanks, LeonANDREW R : Angular Field of View (Real) - 5.0 Angular Field of View (Apparent) - 55.3 The 12X42 may offer slightly better performance owing to its greater light gathering ability.

Great product and service

I was looking for a pair of glasses that would go wide enough for me. My eye are set apart further than most and I struggle to see clearly through most other glasses. These work just barely. It's nice to be able to use both eyes when looking at wild life in the mountains. I am also taking them to Alaska this summer!!
