The Z f camera is powered by the EXPEED 7, the latest in image processing technology, which is 10x faster than previous generations. This sophisticated technology, enhanced by Deep Learning, is the same powerful processing engine used in the Z 9 and Z 8 models.
The camera's autofocus system, built from Deep Learning technology, recognizes a wide range of common subjects, from people and pets to vehicles and aircraft. This technology ensures precise focus and tracking for each subject. The Z f also features Eye-Detection AF for photos and videos, automatically locking onto the eyes of subjects, even when they're small in the frame.
The Z f camera boasts a high-speed capture of up to 30 fps, ensuring you never miss a decisive moment. It also offers a pre-release capture feature, recording moments before you press the shutter release button.
The camera's Deep Learning technology also enhances its Auto Mode, analyzing your shooting situation and automatically adjusting aperture, ISO, and shutter speed to match your intentions.
The Z f camera takes low light photography to a new high with the widest ISO range among Z Series Cameras. It offers ISO 100-64,000 for stills with low noise across the entire range and ISO 100-51,200 for video. The camera's AF Detection goes down to -10 EV, the lowest of any Z series camera, enabling it to detect faces and even eyes in extremely dark scenes.
The camera also features 8.0 stops of 5-axis VR image stabilization, the world's first focus-point stabilization, and a dedicated Black & White Mode. It also offers 96MP Ultra-High Resolution Stills, beautiful portrait features, and a range of Picture Controls & Creative Picture Controls.
For videographers, the Z f camera offers crisp footage up to 4K/60p captured in-camera, 4K/30p oversampled from 6K, and 1080/120p slow-motion. It also offers over 2 hours of continuous recording and a front-facing screen for content creation.
