The item I purchased ( touch screen monitor) will be used by many co-workers. Having this type of accident coverage removes any guilt or hard feelings that could arise if the item gets an accidental nudge. It is a way of working together and bridging gaps. The touch screen will be used on a daily basis. It just makes sense.

It offers so much for not that much. After spending a lot of money on a Rodecaster mixer and all the podcast equipment, I couldn?t imagine not getting the protection. If anything happens to any part of my set up it?s covered. Simply amazing! 10/10 would totally recommend to anyone.

I would give this zero stars if I could. On Oct. 11, I put in a claim for my camera for which the screen had stopped working. I received a reply the next day asking whether my camera had been dropped. The question was odd given that this coverage is supposed to include accidental damage coverage for drops and spills and the camera that we have is supposed to be shockproof and waterproof, but I answered the same day that it had not been dropped. Then radio silence. When I checked in a week later asking about the status of the claim I received a note stating that the "claim has been sent to review once it has been reviewed you will be contacted with the next step of process." No explanation for why it was sent to upper management. I called the actual phone number to get more details and was told the claim was initially denied because they believed the camera had been dropped and that it was being sent to upper management for review. At this point no one had looked at the camera (through pictures or otherwise) nor had anybody contacted me after I told them IT HAD NOT BEEN DROPPED. I was also told that I would receive more information in the next day or two. Another week passes still nothing. I write back to check in again and told that "It appears to be a discrepancy regarding the condition of your camera" and am asked to send pictures so that they "can insure we see no damage." I dutifully send the pictures within 48 hours of receiving that email (we are not at October 28th.) Two weeks pass, still nothing. On Nov. 12th I wrote an email asking what is going on and receive an email stating that the representative is "sending this back to the appropriate persons to assist in helping have the camera authorized for replacement options." Today (Nov. 18th) I finally receive a call and am told the reason they have not been able to process my request is that they don't have the serial number of the camera. WHAT?? I filled in in the serial number on Oct. 11 when I submitted my initial claim (and it was on the confirmation email I received after such submission). I am now supposed to receive a shopping email to send the camera in, but the representative didn't know whether the camera was going to be fixed or replaced. I don't know what racket this company is pulling, but in the few times I have had to put in a claim for a broken camera or lens in the past (with square trade) it was dealt with efficiently and quickly, and if the damage was not covered it was clear why that was the case. Not so here. Will wait to update this review when/if I ever receive my camera or a replacement camera back.
