Bought this for my kids for Xmas. They are 4, 5 and 6 years old and already have piano and drum lessons. My kids are total tech junkies so I figured this would be a great and visually entertaining way of further developing a passion for electronic music and production. It definitely accomplishes this. Bit of a learning curve to this but a few YouTube videos and you’ll be just fine. Amazing how far technology has come since my 20 year old midi synths....

After unpacking the unit I was a little overwhelmed on how to use it. I stared at it, and it stared back at me. It was an awkward first time, but as we got to know each other, things started to flow much more smoothly. Even now without much experience, I already love how I can try out ideas quickly and iterate over them with the Launchpad. I wish I had bought one sooner.

I recently got started with Ableton Live and the Launchpad Pro opens up new possibilities. This is VERY cool.

Been researching a lot of controllers and finally landed on this one. Played with it for a bit and discovered there is a learning curve but nothing you can't learn with tutorials and practice. It's now super fun to play with. Gives you a lot of control. Best investment I've made recently.
