I Love this Case
Been using OtterBox since I can remember. I particularly like the symmetry series as it provides maximum protection in a minimal package. This latest purchase was to replace y 5 year old case. It had been around the world and back and deserved a break. It is perfect!

Disappointed
Was not clear that this product does not have magnet on back. Does not stick to charger well. Also can't return!

Cute print and it's really durable, I always get otter box because the color on the clear cases doesn't fade to yellow as fast as other brands.

Scratches to easily
Nice looking but scratches easily and doesn't look new only after having it a few weeks. Also, it makes the phone hard to hold since it's so slippery and smooth.

Not great
I'm on my third or fourth one of this case, it always warps at the volume buttons AND the bottom splits completely away from the sides. Overall not worth it. I've had my phone for almost 2 years.

Scratched and Cracking in half a year
I bought this as a new case for my iPhone 13 Pro. I was super excited to get this case and use it. In less than 2 months, the grip part had turned a deep yellow. The sides began peeling off. The grip near the charger port wouldn't stay in. Because of prices and the fact I needed a phone case, I did not return it. However, it got increasingly worse. The first time I dropped my phone with this case on, the case did nothing for it and instead the screen protector shattered. The second time I dropped it, the top of the case scratched and cracked open. I am scared to drop it again and am purchasing a new case. I DO NOT recommend this for anyone wanting a long lasting case as what this case is advertised like.

Worst purchase ever
Advertised as non yellowing, and long lasting. Hasn't even been a year yet. The case is yellow and is falling apart.

Misshaped after less than a year
I used it for less than a year and I had to buy a brand new one. I bought a OtterBox "Defender" this time. I'm a teacher and my cellphone is in my office when I am in class, otherwise, I am using it on a normal basis. Left side where are the volume buttons no longer touch the cellphone (see picture).

Not Worth the Price
Purchased this at the AT&T store when I got my iPhone 13. It was nearly $50, so I figured it would be an excellent case. Overall I found the case to be a bit thick but it did the job of protecting my phone. One drawback is the design around the camera lens which makes it wobbly when placed on a flat surface. The big complaint I have is that it turned yellow after a year. Not exactly what you expect after spending that kind of money on a case.

Not the best protection
Like the look and it feels sturdy, but I dropped my previously undamaged phone and the entire back shattered in the case.

Great Case.... but....
I love this case, haven't had any issues with it other than it "splitting/warping" on the volume button. Any quick fixes would be awesome! But other than that i would recommend this case (bought this cause for my XR and loved it ever since then!

Not worth the price
I bought this case a little over 6 months ago. The rubber rim around the edge of the case is peeling off of the plastic part and is about to fall apart. The rubber piece around the volume buttons are warped out of place as well (see picture).

Doesn't protect from drops
I used this case and dropped my phone on the back side. It totally shattered the back glass. The case is still on because I know if I take the case off it will cut my hands, so I added a pop socket to add protection to the back side.

awful case
Although I love the way this case looks, my entire back of my iphone shattered and it will cost $500 to repair. I am extremely disappointed as otterbox has the reputation to provide adequate care for your iphone but this was most definitely not the case. I am disappointed to say the least and I cannot recommend buying this case. please save your iphone and go find another one.

Discoloration and Lacks Magsafe
I bought this Otterbox case from Best Buy in July 2022, so I have been using it for 6 months. I have dropped my phone several times since then. The case appears to be doing its job, as my iPhone 13 Pro shows no signs of damage. The case also seems to have suffered very little in the way of scuffs or dents from 6 months of use. I like the fact that the stiff plastic lower portion is clear, as it shows the green colour of my iPhone's casing.
However, I am not completely satisfied with this Otterbox case.
After a few months, the flexible plastic upper portion of the case started to turn yellow. It is now obviously discoloured and unsightly. Also, the salesperson at the store where I purchased the case neglected to mention that this Otterbox case does NOT allow the phone to be used with Magsafe products. I told the salesperson that I might want to use Magsafe products later, but she insisted that this case would be compatible. She was wrong.
A couple months ago, I decided to get a Magsafe wireless charger and discovered the iPhone would NOT attach to the charger because of the Otterbox casing. I had to buy a separate magnet that attaches to the OUTSIDE of the case in order to make it work with the Magsafe wireless charger. This external magent is unsightly and a nuisance. It snags on other objects, plus it picks up dirt over time.
Although the clear, stiff platic lower portion of this Otterbox case is nice for showing the original colour of an iPhone, the discolouration of the soft plastic upper portion makes the case unsightly overall. And the lack of Magsafe compatibility is a significant disappointment. Until Otterbox rectifies the casing discolouration problem, I would NOT recommend this case. Also, I would NOT recommend buying a non-Magsafe case in general. You will have to add an annoying external magent, or buy a new case altogether, if you want to use other Magsafe products with your iPhone.
Beware salespersons in electronic stores who aren't fully informed on Otterbox products. Do your own research to ensure you get a Magsafe case.

Not worth the price
Pursued this case based on the one I have used for past iPhones. This one feels cheap and cut outs for the charger cable is sharp. Makes holding the case uncomfortable. Overall feel of the case is like cheap plastic. I?ve not
dropped my phone yet, but fear if I do drop it the iPhone my become damaged. Not what I would expect from Otterbox.

Held the pieces in.
I have own several Otterbox cases. I purchased my current symmetry case almost exactly one year ago with my Iphone 13. My phone has never been outside the case from day one. I do drop my phone often but never from higher than my hands standing on the ground. This case claims to be shock proof up to 3 meters. I pulled the case off for the first time to replace the screen protector and to my surprise, the back of the phone was completely shattered. No a scratch on the case. Obviously the case is not shock proof to 3 meters. There is no other damage to the phone other than what is shown in the picture. No damage to the Otterbox case indicating there was not a hard impact. The only thing this case did was hold the shattered pieces in that literally fell out when I took the case off.

Exceeds expectations
Have had for a few weeks now. Have dropped my phone a few times and has great protection- no damage! Also I was worried the clear case would yellow or look dirty but haven?t had to take off to clean once yet.

Don't buy - Complete change in quality!
I've used symmetry Otterbox products for 6 years and this has seriously disappointed me.
The plastic is so hard and there's no rubber edging any more on the outside of the case.
Honestly, this product feels like something from a massive bargain bin at a store, that you go through because you don't care about the protection of your phone you just want it to be pretty. Sadly I will not be a customer of Otterbox anymore
Below I've attached a photo of my old phone case EXTREMLY worn out with the new one (Purple). I use to love the quality of these products and the warranty's on them but not any more. You can see there is NO rubber backing on the new case and the new case is such a hard plastic it clicks when you use the buttons, and buckles on the back like its to big or something. I would've used the warranty to replace my old case but I knew I was upgrading my phone. Good bye Otterbox
