I was very disappoined with my purchase. Comes with a smooth case versus rubbery case. Very slippery! Also no screen protector. I currently have the otterbox which I love. Think I'll stay with that as they missed the mark on this one

I received two cases direct from otterbox that didn't even work right out of the box and then the third case i received only worked for 5 days and then quit. Don't recommend at all

This product only lasted 1 year before the case would not take a charge. If you can purchase it for a good price it's worth it.

I've had two of these now, the first replaced under warranty because it stopped charging. The second case just kicked the bucket yesterday. I bought he iPhone 6 version which I noticed is no longer available. For $99 this should have been a better product. Hopefully they correct this issue and refund or replace.

I bought this for my daughter and the volume wouldn't work or the power buttons, I called customer service and I payed shipping for a new one that still doesn't work.

I got this as a gift one year ago. While the recharging capability WAS very convenient, and saved me many times that I had not charged my phone for a couple of days, after one year the case will no longer hold a charge. Even from day one, recharging was tricky. With certain combinations of case charge level and phone charge level, when plugging in the case to charge, it would continuously beep. Never figured out what caused this, and I would take the phone out of the case (very inconvenient and charge the phone and case separately. The case is large and the battery adds considerable weight. So, overall rating is just okay. If you have need to not charge for a couple of days, then this might be okay for you, but otherwise, not worth the extra price and weight.

The charging part of the case works well, but the volume part does not. When I try to turn the volume up, the volume turns down. I have to turn the volume all the way down, press the up volume button at a certain angle, and then the volume will actually increase. The lower volume button is very sensitive, as well.

I have been dealing with this phone for about 2 1/2 months now. The first one I got did not work with the volume buttons. The second one I received did not work with the volume buttons. I took my phone into apple to make sure it wasn't my phone and it wouldn't work on the people at Apple's phone either. After the third time of trying this phone, it never worked! It may be on sale, but not worth any price. I have a 5S...

Bought this about 6 months at 50% off. Works great on my 5S. I have even dropped my phone a few times and it still works and protects my iPhone. Oh it keeps the battery charged all.

I bought this case as my wife has one and urged me to get one. She enjoyed being able to charge her phone anywhere without plugging it in. The case is feels solid and ergonomic, it has rounded edges which feels nice in my hand. Aesthetically, it looks very slick and I often get compliments. One other thing I enjoyed was that it doesn't wear out your jeans and leave the dreaded cell phone mark on your pocket. Overall, I feel I made a wise decision purchasing the case and I recommend it to anyone with a busy lifestyle.

I bought this a few weeks ago, I like it but the volume button is a pain to mess with like I'll try to turn it up and it turns my volume all the way down. But I'm getting the remote headphones to see if that helps. Great product :)

Got this for Christmas and straight out of the box it appeared to be defective. Looked like there was a tiny piece broke off. Also it was not a perfect fit. Volume buttons didn't line up making it impossible to shut all the way. I dropped it once, and while there was no damage to the phone, the case cracked next to the volume buttons. I also hate the fact that it takes a different charger than the actual phone. Very inconvenient. Lastly, I've come to find out that for whatever reason, my case won't charge anymore. I'm very disappointed, as I am not looking forward to spending another $50-$100 for a good case.

Two Resurgence cases in two weeks and neither worked. First one did not work at all. I was sent replacement. Replacement initially worked and would only charge my phone if I used an Apple branded wall plug. Can't charge in the car. After 2 phone re-chargings the replacement case stopped charging my phone. To get a refund, Otterbox wants me to pay $5.00 (!) and return the Resurgence charger case.

I have had great success with Otter Boxes in the past, the defender series so I turned to Otter Box when I needed the extended battery. The extended battery/case is attractive as well as functional.

I am happy to have the case and I plan to keep it and use it for as long as it is good for but I have one major issue with it and that involves the volume buttons on the phone. The case does not interact well with these buttons. I examined it and it seems like it just is not a perfect fit such that simply squeezing on the side of the case will raise or lower the volume unintentionally. This is a problem because you have to squeeze the case to change the phone from wake mode to sleep or vice versa and it always changes the volume when I try to do that. I have to be careful not to squeeze the case when putting the phone to sleep. Also when trying to raise or lower the volume there are issues and the phone may not respond to the button being pressed or it may do the wrong thing and lower the volume when trying to raise it or vice versa. I wish it was a perfect fit but it isn't so I have to use the phone in the case with some pickiness to make sure it does what I want it to.

The unit does fit the IPhone S5 but it is sticking to the volume lower button and therefore the phone is always on silence. Cannot hear work phone calls when the phone is silent.

The Resurgence Power case does extend my iPhone's use without recharging. I can easily make it through an entire day without recharging the phone. That's why I got this case. But it does have some negatives. The case gets extremely warm when it is recharging from a near complete discharge. It does not get so warm when it is not allowed to completely discharge. The case does not protect the screen. It only protects the edges and back. It also has a smooth finish, unlike my previous Defender case. It doesn't feel secure in my hands. The case fits the iPhone 5s very tightly. It is very hard to remove the case. Because of the case's battery, an extra long earphone adapter plug is required. The Apple earphone plugs into the adapter. I have misplaced the earplug adapter several times. OtterPond

The Resurgence Case for my I-Phone 5 is a treasure. I listen to podcasts and use my maps and my camera daily on my phone. Even though I charge it every night, I am often down to low battery warnings by evening. All I do now is press the little button on my case and it powers back up to 100%. i was worried the case would be bulky, but my phone still fits comfortably in my pocket. I am pleased that the phone and the case charge as one unit, no more carrying a separate battery charger that has to also be charged. I would and have suggested that this case is a great product.

Does everything it is meant to do. Takes some work to take the phone out and put it back into the case, but there should be no need to do that many times. Very satisfied.

I have found the volume buttons on the case to not work properly when phone is in the case. Both buttons lower the volume of the call. Seems that both buttons are being pressed at the same time.
