Orion Images OIC-M401Q 4-Input HDMI Multiviewer System with 4K Output

The OIC-M401Q is Orion Images's first compact multi-window monitoring system featuring 4 inputs/windows, with resolutions up to 2048 x 1080 (including 1920 x 1080p) and full screen, quad, PIP or infinitely adjustable the screen layouts. This 1 RU, dual rack mountable video scaler/processor allows for video switcher, maximum flexibility in screen layout and for viewing multi-window content of video and graphics at the same time over the RNK series video wall.

In Full Screen and Quad modes, this unit outputs 4K, 2K, 1080p and 2560x1600 output resolutions. In PIP and Custom modes, it outputs 2K, 1080p and 1920x1200 output resolutions. The OIC-M401Q supports inputs for all HD video sources thru the HDMI interface. The OIC-M401Q unit can be controlled several ways; through the front panel buttons, an IR Remote Controller, an Ethernet Control via Web Browser or via standard RS-232C protocol. This unit can be cascade connected for more than 4 inputs when needed.

Display Modes

Full Screen Mode
• In full screen mode, one of the four video source is displayed in full screen size and maximum resolution
• Supported video output resolutions: Ultra-HD 4Kx2K resolution (3840x2160 at 60Hz, 4096x2160 at 60Hz), 2K Cinema (2048x1080 at 60Hz), HDTV resolutions up to 1080p, Computer resolutions up to 2560x1600

Quad Mode
• In quad mode, the screen is split into four fields of equal size each displaying the entire contents of four different video sources
• Fluid, real-time video performance with up to 60 frames per second (fps) in all four quadrants
• Supported video output resolutions: Ultra-HD 4Kx2K resolution (3840x2160 at 60Hz, 4096x2160 at 60Hz), 2K Cinema (2048x1080 at 60Hz), HDTV resolutions up to 1080p, Computer resolutions up to 2560x1600

PIP (Picture In Picture) Mode
• In PIP mode, the full screen display of one of the four video sources is accompanied by one, two or three small images of the three other video sources on the right hand margin of the screen allowing simultaneous monitoring
• Size, position and selection of the thumbnails are customizable
• Supported video output resolutions: 2K cinema (2048x1080 at 60Hz), HDTV resolutions up to 1080p, Computer resolutions up to 1920x1200

Custom Mode
• In Custom mode, each video source is displayed in its own separate, detached window
• Size, position and selection of the windows are customizable
• Presets of the window positioning can be saved
• Supported video output resolutions: 2K cinema (2048x1080 at 60Hz), HDTV resolutions up to 1080p, Computer resolutions up to 1920x1200
• Configure up to 10 preset layouts that can be switched live at any time
• Size and color of the window border can be changed
