Wrong flash tubes sent twice and terrible customer service

I ordered 2 Orlit flash tubes and received containers with the correct SKU, but the wrong flash tubes inside (see the attached photo). After days of trying to sort it out and spending time on the phone, sending emails and the chat feature, and requesting multiple times for the containers to be checked for the right tubes before shipping, I finally had a replacement sent out. When I opened the containers they were the wrong flash tubes AGAIN. I was charged border fees twice now. So far, I am out for the flash tubes in addition to the border fees for items I haven't received. Customer service has been totally useless. Avoid Adorama specific brands. Purchase brands that other camera stores carry.

Replacement flash tube

The Orlit studio strobes are a best buy in value. One hallmark of professional use equipment is maintenance, and for strobes maintenance means replacing broken flash tubes. These Adorama units are OEM stock, and the replacement procedure is straightforward. I'd recommend having a spare on hand, in the same way that a backup camera is always appropriate.

Purchased as a spare

If you own an Orlit Rovelight, you should buy one of these as a spare. This is the most likely part to break, along with the glass dome.

Does what its supposed to

Does what its supposed to. Only qualm is with their shipping. The packaging is good enough so Im confused as to why the prongs were so bent. Must be the handling at the Adorama facility.

The ORLIT RoveLight RT 600ws flash tube is the user-replaceable spare or replacement for the monolight's flash tube.

It delivers a stable color temperature of 5500½K.
