This camera is perfect for me except for the shape of the body. I have to have more of a grip. The kind folks at Small Rig make an add-on grip which includes an Arca rail. Now this camera is perfect for me. I didn't need viewfinders, since on all my LUMIX MFT and OM MFT cameras, I swing out the screen and compose the picture. The view on the screen is super clear and contrasty. I've had no problems composing in sunlight. This is a well-thought-out camera, and it is a joy to use. LUMIX is smart, they produced a body which weighs in at 1/2 pound less than the model with a viewfinder. Trust me, you can tell the difference when hanging around your neck! I've yet to use the LUTs so I can't comment on that feature. With the nifty fifty attached, and a full frame sensor, I've got a great walking around camera .

After having this camera for a little over a month now I can honestly say that everyone, haters and lovers alike, are right about this camera. No EVF, mechanical shutter, and dual card slots cripple this camera in some obvious ways. Meanwhile, it's small size, 6k open gate, and myriad of codecs, and real time lut support make it a camera that once you pick it up you don't want to put it down. If you are a true hybrid creator you will feel the pinch of this camera's short comings when it comes to both photo and video while simultaneously enjoying features you never knew you were missing. Ultimatley, the S9 is an amazing camera for those who understand what this camera is and how it fits in their kit. For beginners and hobbiests it is a well equipped camera with a very high ceiling. For professionals it is a capable B/C cam, or an very capable travel camera. Your mileage may vary.
