Shopper : Does it have wireless rear speakers?VITALIY A : No. This theater system do not have a wireless rear speakers.HUGH G : The SC-BTT490 sytem does not come with wireless speaker capability as shipped. However, according to the owners manual wireless surround sound can be achieved with the purchase of a Panasonic wireless system option (SH-FX71). I installed my system with all speakers wired so cannot comment on the optional wireless package. Hope this helps!JAY B : No. The Panasonic wireless speaker system must be purchased separately. It is a little difficult to find but works extremely well. As an aside, this unit is outstanding and the wireless features are great. PETER S : The SC-BTT490 has wired rear speakers but you can purchase a wireless receiver kit for around $100 to provide either 7.1 surround or for rear speakers. I am considering purchasing the kit for sound on our back patio. We LOVE this unit, BTW! It is my 3rd Pansonic theater system and is the best by far.JAMES F : No wireless speakers

A smart Home Theater System

Setting up was an ease! Strong ENOUGH to be heard outside Instruction are clear and in order. I would recomd this product to anyone. 2 problems 1. (I created this one mysef) I had to remove the older Pansonic system speakers due to the ohm differnce. 2.When I turn the system on for the first time, " all menus were in French". I set up a chat session with Panasonic and they walked me through it.

Great product for your dollar

Sound better than your high dollar home theater systems I have had sampled and previously had. I would definitely recommend this to anybody. I bought the wireless hook up for it also for the rear speakers

Very good product

I love converting my 2D movies to 3D movies. It has good apps. It has an excellent sound and its simple to control with the remote. The bad thing is that the wires of the back speakers are not too long.

Best Pricing

The system was small, compact, and easy to setup. The firmware update site response was terrible. I had to download the update on my computer and write it to a CD. Other than that the sound quality is not as good as I was expecting. These days the audio is tingy, not near as rich as the audio of even the 1990's. Good marks for setup, convenience, and ease of use. The sound quality lacks a bit to be desired, but is 3D compatible.
