Love this strap

Anyone with a wide frame knows the struggle of backpack straps sliding off your shoulders. This strap fixes that, plain & simple. Hefty, sturdy, all of that. 10 bucks. Can't go wrong

Good adjustable strap but easily lost

I do like this strap, I really can?t do without it since I wear this pack hiking. I?m very glad to find a reasonably priced replacement strap, which brings me to my one complaint: It tends to fall off and get lost easily when it is not in use. So i tuck it in the side pocket when I?m not using it.

I use it all the time

I got a replacement one of these, only because I had a different bag and I wanted a great sternum strap. I knew the peak design one was solid and I just added it to the non peak design bag. It works great. I looked at a lot of other strap options online and this is still the best one I felt to go with.

Irreplaceable (but replaced

Lost the original that came with my travel backpack during a trip. Spent a month and a half using the backpack on jobs and was sorely missed. Ordered at the first chance I had between shoots, PeakDesign got it to me so fast even with it being a coast 2 coast shipping.

Poor design, works great.

As a sternum strap, it works great. The problem is that it is not physically attached to the bag, so if you are not super careful, the strap can get caught on an airport xray roller, the back of your rolling bag, a jacket, etc. and it will fly off never to be seen again. These newer ones seem to have a little loop that you could possibly tie a string around, but there's no convenient place to secure it to the bag.
