Peak Design 20L Everyday Tote Bag, Ash

Bought this years ago and finally decided to drop a review of the Tote here. The durability of this bag has well surpassed my expectations (it's over 6 years old and still looks brand new - not even a worn corner). The zips are still strong and show no wear on the seams, and the bag is one of my everyday rotations for work. I have my M2 Macbook Air 14" in there, along with a small flask of coffee, my Peak Design Field Pouch (which holds my charging cables and a small SlimQ 150W charging hub), and either my Steam Deck or Lenovo Legion Go (with the controllers detached). I also use it when I travel, since it's small enough to hold things that I use on the plane, and secures nicely to my cabin roller bag. Love the little hook that secures the roll-top so stuff doesn't fall out, and prevents curious fingers from accessing stuff inside.

I use this to carry all sorts of paraphernalia that you take with you when travelling especially with camera gear. The majority of my daily use gear is in the a 10 litre Peak Design Sling , but the tote carries everything else, spare lenses, including a 100-400 fuji lens, Ipad Pro , phone, , batteries & chargers cables etc in tech bag , Wallet & Keys securely fastened with PD Anchors along with paperwork , maps and guides. I wouldnt be without it

I've had my bag for at least four years and I love it for it's versality for being not only a purse but a camera bag at the same time. Great for for any use and ease of use to assemble inside as needed (varied possibilities with separation dividers) But the best part is that zippers open up from either side of the bag to slip out the camera while wearing the bag from the shoulders.

I simply love all the functionality and features of the Everyday Tote. It is roomier than it looks and there are little pockets for pretty much everything. Only thing that is annoying is that the possibility to extend the carry handles is not double sided. Only possible on one side and that makes it sort of uncomfortable to carry. Else a very good product.

This is probably one of my favourite bags: it's elegant, it's compact and load way more than what you think. It hasn't been a great success in Italy, but I loved it since the first time. I use it when I'm out for shooting restaurants (it loads easily my GFX+ 2 GF optics) and when I'm out with my car is the perfect bag to have with you (it's great also for shopping). I'm not satisfied for the V2, I think it has lost some "character", I'll search another V1. I think that this is the most under-rated Peak Design's bag

I bought this for my wife several years ago. She loved it but it didn't fit in her daily routine. I took it to work (college professor) and use it as a tote at work taking computer, books, etc. from office to classroom. Perfect bag for this use case.

I have had this bag for nearly 4 years. I use it everyday. It'f perfect for my camera and work stuff but it's also great to have for everyday stuff. It's sturdy and great design.

I bought it in 2018, still using it. I am using it to carry my computer + other much more to work, And as my travel tote (airplane, travel by car, and city walks . Love that it is adjustable, exact perfect size for me (especially on city walks), can be used as backpack, perfect color, modern style, great durability and it is light at the same time, have option to strap things.Many many thanks!

I bought this as a diaper bag for my third child and have loved it. I don?t know why I didn?t get it for my other kids! This bag is perfect to keep things exactly where you need them for the rushed moments when baby needs something quickly and you only have one hand. Love the versatility to change the configuration for different types of outings.

The bag is different from others, of course its a tote but feels very safe for the gear, its a little bit uncomfortable to find the gear inside the bag but nothing crazy, I use it on smaller shoots and to be honest when I take it to shoots I get a lot of compliments.

I took the tote on a trip with me to carry my camera equipment. It carried the camera and lenses well, but it was not comfortable to carry unless it was attached to my luggage. It felt very lopsided when I was getting on the plane, and my back hurt from it. However, I really like the concept and will be figuring out what else to do with the bag. If it fit my MacBook Pro I'd use it as a work bag. It will find a use, but right now, it's just sitting here looking pretty.

This is outstanding bag. The innovative zippered end access to my D5300 with an 18-300 zoom is a great way to preserve the rest of your bag for your traveling necessities - tablet, pads, magazines, newspapers, or even a pair of shoes (if your feet aren’t size 12). I love the magnetic top, so convenient, and if you’re in an airport or sketchy location, the hook is added security. Only negative is the backpack configuration. I tried it when on a photo shoot and it kept slipping diagonally down my back. Next time I’ll use a spring clip to keep the straps a consistent length on each side of the bag. I almost dropped my lens hood out the double zippered side panel, but fortunately, the magnetic clasp held fast. I had been looking for literally years to find a high quality replacement for my leather shopping bag I bought in Europe back in 1995. I had given up. I had used that as my travel/camera bag for decades. This Peak Design everyday tote bag accomplishes both functions elegantly. Although not cheap, it was less than what I paid back in the 90’s for its leather predecessor. This is a GREAT bag well worth the price.

I love how customizable this is. It not only holds a ton of stuff in multiple configurations but allows me to quickly go from shoulder carry to backpack style when it gets too heavy.
