A year ago I bought the Slide version and liked it a lot. Recently I got a second camera body, and realized I didn't need the sturdier Slide with the smaller, lighter of the two cameras. I use the Slide with my Z8 and long lens, and the Leash with my Z7ii and 24-70 lens. Perfect!

My PD leash was purchased more than 5 years ago and recently the adjustable piece is worn out but still holds and didn't break during my trip. After got back, I contacted the service regarding the status of the leash and they efficiently check and delivered a new one to me.

A better choice for lightweight cameras, eg the OM Systems OM-3 or Sony 6xxx series. Works perfectly with the Peak Design system tabs, as expected. Good product.

I've only used it for two weeks so far, but I won't go back to traditional camera leashes again. Except that it being a stylish leash, the movable harness system is so useful and the overall unpacking experience was a nice surprise. If their intention was to justify the relatively high price by including all these small bells and whistles in the package, well I guess they delivered.

The best strap that others try to copy. It sets the bar high!

Just PERFECT in every way. Easy to attach STRAP to camera and detach when needed. This can be worn all day and it is so lightweight and easy to manoeuvre camera when you are taking photos. Camera sits perfectly and the strap moves well to allow you to take photos and then allow camera to go back when not needed. Just effortless and makes a huge difference now to my being able to take photos immediately.

Recently picked up this camera strap as an everyday strap. I love the color and does everything PD claims. The only thing I wish they would add for the next version would be the grip that is on the top up the two wider straps. To me, this seems like a no-brainer. If you want to use it should style, it's there? if you don't then you just flip it around. PLEASE add this feature Peak Design? I'm begging!!!

I love the leash good size for my Fujifilm X-T50, I have the slide lite but it felt too big for my camera so I end up picking a leash for that camera only, I know it can handle much bigger camera but it's not meant for it because it will end up hurting your skin because it's too heavy for the leash

Good lightweight strap for carrying a fujifilm x-t5. My only minor gripe is about the metal buckles/strap length adjusters. You have to be careful with them as they could scratch your gear

I love the design and color. It is very practical: adjustable, lightweight, and the quick-release anchors are a game changer, specially when we are sharing the camera. Feels premium and long-lasting. Great purchase

The leash is a great compact strap for my X100VI. And because of the detachable loops, I can use it with my other cameras, so the price does not feel as steep anymore.

Beautiful strap, sleek, lean, comfortable with the well known quick release/attach system from Peak Design. What I love about this strap too, is that it comes with a bottom plate to mount and extra anchors so you can choose how to carry your camera. Tree anchors on your camera, two ways to carry your camera. Great system.

I got the leash for my XT-5 and I absolutely love it! One thing I would love to see is being able to purchase one that is burgundy!

I bought this as a mid length option that would work within the Peak anchor system, as I already have a cuff. I found that this was actually quite good, as i can just swap on the anchors to this or the cuff relatively easily. The adjusting of the length of the leash allows for quick adjustments that wont risk dropping the camera, and it's a good color with good leather contrast pieces. Wonderful product!

I like this strap because it's small and you can just wad it up and shove it in a pocket when you're not using it.

One of the sturdiest neck straps, still holds strong after going through a lot. Feels good on the skin. Highly recommended.

This is my second Peak Design Strap, my first being the OG Peak Design Slide. I still have the Slide in Midnight (love the colors). I wanted to try a deferent offering for the Nikon Zf, and this is a good option, now I can easily go between the two depending on the day, I would also get the Slide lite in the future so I can have a black option for formal settings. My original Anchors are still holding strong and I could easily see this thing out living me. If your on the fence about this I would get.

I have several rope style straps however the nylon straps that attach to camera can easily be looped in the wrong way. The Peak strap is a perfect length (quite long) and very easily adjustable. The straps fold away easily, not taking extra room in my bag. I can be confident my camera is safely attached at all times.

I purchased one a few years ago and can't live without the clip functionality anymore. I got a second camera body and had to buy another one. They should be standard across all cameras.

It's so easy to use and adjust on the fly. Lightweight and not bulky. Easy connect and disconnect. Perfect product for those trying to keep the extra weight down and want to get outdoors and use their camera.

Build quality is alright and the quick release system works well most of the time (depending which angle you have your strap on). The strap its self is so slippery and will fall off your clothing.

Looks stylish and works great. Makes it super easy for me to carry my camera without it pulling at my neck or being awkward to grab when I want to shoot

I bought my second leash a couple weeks ago for my second camera wedding project. I love the leash for the quality, design, and ease of use and adjustment on the fly. I have the black and coyote and love the new colors being offered. I have tried so many straps, including the slide, which I found to be too thick, but the leash is perfect in every way.

I bought this to complement the mobile case from Peak Design. I move around a lot, and sometimes its a hassle to get the phone in out of pockets so the leash is a perfect complement for the case. It feels extremely sturdy and safe, yet lightewight as a feather, and I can carry it around in a pocket if im not using it.

Using with Sony A7III and Sigma 35mm 1.4 and it fits my needs perfectly. Originally had the slide lite but exchanged it for the leash and prefer this over the other.

"I've tried many camera straps before, but the Peak Design Leash really gives others a run for their money. Love that I can quickly adjust the length of the strap or disconnect the camera in seconds if needed."
The Leash Camera Strap in Charcoal is the epitome of versatility and innovation, designed for photographers who demand both agility and reliability from their gear. This ultra-lightweight strap is the world's most adaptable camera accessory, effortlessly transforming to suit any camera and any shooting scenario. Whether you require a sling strap for on-the-go shots, a traditional neck strap for stability, or a shoulder strap for comfort, the Leash Camera Strap meets your needs with ease.
Crafted for a wide range of applications, the Leash isn't limited to cameras alone. Its universal design allows for seamless connection to various equipment, including binoculars, tripods, and rangefinders, enhancing its utility for all your photographic endeavors. However, it's important to note that while the Leash is incredibly versatile, it is not intended for carrying children.
As a safety tether, the Leash Camera Strap offers an extra layer of security, particularly for users of the Capture Camera Clip system. By attaching one end of the Leash to your camera and the other to a secure point, such as a belt loop or backpack, you can shoot with confidence, even in challenging environments. This feature is especially valuable when capturing images in locations where dropping your camera could be disastrous.
For videographers, the Leash doubles as an effective stabilizer strap. By applying tension, you can significantly reduce the shakiness of handheld footage, ensuring smoother, more professional-looking video captures.
Adjustability is a key feature of the Leash Camera Strap, with a broad range of lengths from 33 inches (84 cm) to 60 inches (152 cm), thanks to a durable, glass-reinforced nylon sliding adjuster. When utilized as a safety tether, it can be shortened to 19 inches (48 cm), providing a snug and secure fit.
The Leash Camera Strap is designed for quick and effortless connection and removal, featuring the patent-pending Anchor Link connection system. This innovative design allows for one-handed operation, making it a breeze to attach or detach the strap as needed.
Despite its robust functionality, the Leash Camera Strap is incredibly compact. The slim hardware and 3/4 inch webbing are designed to fold neatly into your pocket, purse, or camera bag, ensuring that it's always within reach as a convenient spare strap.
For photographers who prioritize simplicity and efficiency, the Leash Camera Strap is the ideal choice. It eschews unnecessary frills in favor of a minimalist design that focuses on essential features in a compact, ultralight package.
Engineered for speed, strength, and comfort, the strap's seatbelt-style webbing is smooth to the touch, allowing for quick camera access without snagging on clothing. The strap's durability is unquestionable, with the capacity to support any professional camera, lens, and accessory combination. The upgraded Dyneema-corded Anchors are a testament to the strap's strength, each capable of supporting over 90 kg (200 lbs) and boasting exceptional abrasion resistance.
In summary, the Leash Camera Strap in Charcoal is a masterclass in design efficiency, offering photographers a multifunctional, secure, and comfortable carrying solution for their valuable equipment.
