Bought this for a trip where I'd be shooting landscape and hiking. I put the camera on the clip when hiking and the leash didn't bother me like a strap would have. Well done.

I have only had the Leash for a couple of weeks but I have taken it out on several shoots with my Sony A7CR and it is the perfect companion for a compact point and shot style configuration.

Permanently attached to a Fuji medium format camera, for the occasional times I walk around with it, or as a redundant safety when it's on a tripod (clipped to a small carabiner, in case the Arca mount slips). I have no interest in bulkier straps or anything with padding or grip or writing or decorations. I have slight concern about the anchor cord abrading over time, but after 3 years it's still fine.

Bought it for my DSLR camera. The default strap that came with it was very uncomfortable. However, for the pass two weeks, this leash has been a game changer for the versatility and fashion.

I have the Slide, Slide Lite, and the Leash. They are all very high quality, comfortable to use, and easily adjustable straps. And the color options give many choices. The materials are top notch. I prefer cross shoulder/sling use, as I keep the camera/binoculars behind my hip and out of the way, but can quickly slide them into use when needed. I never liked neck carry, as the equipment bounces all over, and goes forward quickly when bending over. My only complaint is the loops on the anchors are a little short making it difficult to attach to some cameras/binoculars, and while the quick attach mechanism is good, it sometimes takes a little effort to get it to release. Longer loops would help solve that problem giving a bit more room to manipulate the anchors. Overall, a fine accessory.

I just bought my 3rd leash, the first two were the old style from several years ago. I love them. My work is mostly on a tripod, so the leash is a great way to have a strap for security when moving the camera around, but is minimal and not in the way when shooting. Lightweight but very strong, easy to remove and replace with my Slide strap when I want to do handheld work.

Good product. Enjoying it very much so far, I like the ridges on the strap, to help stay on shoulder.

I bought this a few weeks ago for a summer vacation and it exceeded my expectations! Strap is comfortable to wear for longer periods of time, very secure, and easily adjustable. This was my first purchase from Peak Design, but surely not my last!

It's actually a great product but I gave it one star because I wanted to get your attention to my request. It's thin and discrete for travel, hides under clothing with the camera tucked behind my arm out of sight but as its so thin it's easily cut and the camera stolen as happenednd to me recently. Please consider puttting out a few of these with a wire strap incorpored into the sling to prevent this type of theft when travelling in places where theft is at a high risk. A thin metal wire woven into the material would prevent this issue. Thanks for taking notice!

Great product! This is actually the second Leash that I've purchased after I lost my first one on a trip to Portugal. I love how lightweight it is. The feel of the material's fabric and the clasp system just allows me to very quickly adjust it. I can't imagine my life without this strap

Very easy and quick to install both on slot or traditional lugs. The lug ring splitter works really well. Quality is excellent and it is very comfortable. Great that you get two extra buttons. I have 2 cameras and it's easy to swap between both.

I've been using it for 2 weeks not and i love it. It's comfortable with my fuji camera and smaller telephoto lenses on it, with a heavier lens i can see it starting to cut into my neck so if set up is heavy i would advise getting their bigger strap. It's super fast and easy to adjust to be able to cary my camera however i need and the quick disconnect is my favorite, i can swap easily to my cuff tether.

It's a decent camera strap. Their bigger straps are horribly uncomfortable, so this is about as good as it gets from this company. The latch system used to be unique, but other companies have them now and there are more comfortable options out there.

I have been using this strap for the past month and finally took it off my camera and put on the leather strap that my camera came with - a Leica Q3. I love that this strap is small and lightweight but strong. I love that it is easily adjustable. And I love the quick release feature. But I do a lot of street and journalism photography in places where I need to be discreet. I usually hang the camera from a shoulder and keep it under my coat when walking around. This strap is slippery. Really slippery. I am constantly needing to put it back on my shoulder when it slides off. A few times when I was walking quickly or maneuvering around a lot, it almost fell entirely off. The larger Peak Design strap that I use on a Nikon Z7-2 has a grippy side so that you can simply reverse the strap and use that side for shoulder carry. This strap needs that.

Have used this strap a few times now. Simple to connect and adjust, comfortable to use, and easy to pack in the bag when not in use. Just what I was looking to purchase.

It is so much better than the typical OEM camera straps. Love the quick release anchors and the quick adjustment for size. Whish they didn't provide straps when buying a camera as the original straps stay in a drawer never used and I only use the Peak design.

I have been using this for a month now and couldn't imagine going back to my previous strap at this point! The Peak anchor quick connect system is great, I can securely carry my camera on the strap when needed but can easily disconnect for when I would like to not be tethered. The leash is the perfect size for my X-T30 - not too bulky so it fits in my compact bag but provides enough support. Being able to adjust the length is a great perk!

I already own the slide and initially ordered the slide light for my X2D II. I sent back the slide light, which is a fantastic strap, only to order the Leash. If you're looking for a small adjustable strap, the Leash should be on your List. I love it! Wasn't sure about the adjustiert function, but it works fantastically well.

I purchased both the Leash and Slide Lite straps. They seemed a little pricey, but I was able to find them on sale at Best Buy. They are absolutely worth it. As a lover of quick-adjusting straps on back packs, guitar straps, camera straps and beyond; these have made it a breeze to carry my cameras. I would highly recommend both products.

I was hunting for a longer strap for my camera. The Peak Design products came highly recommended. This strap fits exactly the way I wanted. It is not very heavy, and the Peak Design connectors allow for quick changes between cameras or between their products.

High quality, as always with Peak Design. Only downside is that when used on a lighter camera (mirrorless body with a pancake lens, for example), it's not heavy enough to allow for the one finger pull. Perhaps it will loosen up over time? TBD.

"I've tried many camera straps before, but the Peak Design Leash really gives others a run for their money. Love that I can quickly adjust the length of the strap or disconnect the camera in seconds if needed."
The Leash Camera Strap in Charcoal is the epitome of versatility and innovation, designed for photographers who demand both agility and reliability from their gear. This ultra-lightweight strap is the world's most adaptable camera accessory, effortlessly transforming to suit any camera and any shooting scenario. Whether you require a sling strap for on-the-go shots, a traditional neck strap for stability, or a shoulder strap for comfort, the Leash Camera Strap meets your needs with ease.
Crafted for a wide range of applications, the Leash isn't limited to cameras alone. Its universal design allows for seamless connection to various equipment, including binoculars, tripods, and rangefinders, enhancing its utility for all your photographic endeavors. However, it's important to note that while the Leash is incredibly versatile, it is not intended for carrying children.
As a safety tether, the Leash Camera Strap offers an extra layer of security, particularly for users of the Capture Camera Clip system. By attaching one end of the Leash to your camera and the other to a secure point, such as a belt loop or backpack, you can shoot with confidence, even in challenging environments. This feature is especially valuable when capturing images in locations where dropping your camera could be disastrous.
For videographers, the Leash doubles as an effective stabilizer strap. By applying tension, you can significantly reduce the shakiness of handheld footage, ensuring smoother, more professional-looking video captures.
Adjustability is a key feature of the Leash Camera Strap, with a broad range of lengths from 33 inches (84 cm) to 60 inches (152 cm), thanks to a durable, glass-reinforced nylon sliding adjuster. When utilized as a safety tether, it can be shortened to 19 inches (48 cm), providing a snug and secure fit.
The Leash Camera Strap is designed for quick and effortless connection and removal, featuring the patent-pending Anchor Link connection system. This innovative design allows for one-handed operation, making it a breeze to attach or detach the strap as needed.
Despite its robust functionality, the Leash Camera Strap is incredibly compact. The slim hardware and 3/4 inch webbing are designed to fold neatly into your pocket, purse, or camera bag, ensuring that it's always within reach as a convenient spare strap.
For photographers who prioritize simplicity and efficiency, the Leash Camera Strap is the ideal choice. It eschews unnecessary frills in favor of a minimalist design that focuses on essential features in a compact, ultralight package.
Engineered for speed, strength, and comfort, the strap's seatbelt-style webbing is smooth to the touch, allowing for quick camera access without snagging on clothing. The strap's durability is unquestionable, with the capacity to support any professional camera, lens, and accessory combination. The upgraded Dyneema-corded Anchors are a testament to the strap's strength, each capable of supporting over 90 kg (200 lbs) and boasting exceptional abrasion resistance.
In summary, the Leash Camera Strap in Charcoal is a masterclass in design efficiency, offering photographers a multifunctional, secure, and comfortable carrying solution for their valuable equipment.
