Solid, but some issues.

I have other Phottix Mitros + flashes and this is my third. What I like about them: - They are powerful - They are built to be solid. - Less expensive than Canon flashes - Easy to figure out What I dislike about them: - Make sure you keep a LOT of extra batteries as they run down rather quickly (but I think this is common to a lot of flashes) - Can quickly get "hot" and need more and more time between shots to be ready for the next Now the kit: - Love the bag, for a "freebie", it's a great bag - Love the quality of the stand and the hotshoe fixture that goes on it - Dislike the umbrellas, ESPECIALLY the reflective one - they do not sit centered to the flash, so the light is really not getting the full benefit of the bounce, and they are cheaply made because there are spaces where light filters through the seams. Overall it's a decent kit, but not one I'd buy as is again. More for hobbyists than pros.

The Phottix Mitros+ Kit includes a Mitros+ TTL flash for Canon, a Phottix Reflective Studio Umbrella 84cm, a White Photo Studio Diffuser Umbrella 84cm, a Phottix Varos II Multi-Function Flash Shoe Umbrella Holder and a Light Stand for Studio Flash Studio Light (H-190cm) and a Phottix Gear Bag - 70cm.

Phottix Mitros+ TTL Transceiver Flash
The Phottix Mitros+ TTL Transceiver Flash is the best of Phottix's gold-standard products All-in-One. A flash with Phottix Odin Transmitter and Receiver and Strato receiver all built in. The Phottix Mitros is a powerful and durable hot shoe flash that has proven popular since its release earlier this year. The Phottix Mitros+ adds significant functionality, allowing photographers to not only use the Mitros on or off camera for lighting, but to also control and trigger remote flash by radio signal. The Mitros+ is a new industry landmark and was developed with input from wedding and event photographers.

Use the Mitros+ on-camera as a key or fill light, as well as control and trigger other Mitros+ flashes or compatible flashes using Phottix Odin Receivers. The Mitros+ also offers a built-in Phottix Odin Receiver and Strato II Receiver. Existing Phottix triggers, like the Phottix Odin or Strato II can be used to trigger the Mitros+ without extra receivers.

Reflective Studio Umbrella (84cm/33")
The Phottix Reflector Studio Umbrella is great for use with a portable flash or studio light. It is black outside and silver inside, producing beautiful light with more contrast than a white umbrella.

White Photo Studio Diffuser Umbrella (84cm/33")
The Phottix White Photo Studio Diffuser Umbrella 84cm (33") is a white shoot through style umbrella. A hot shoe flash or studio light can shoot through the umbrella to soften light. It can also be used as a reflective umbrella.

Varos II Multi-Function Flash Shoe Umbrella Holder The Varos II Multi-Function Flash Shoe Umbrella Holder enables the mounting of a flash to a stand while utilizing the White Photo Studio Diffuser Umbrella.
