I purchased this speaker in Dec 2021 from Polk site and paired them with 140w powerful Denon AVR-4308CI. I used them to listen music. It delivers a powerful, pristine, and high quality sound.

I am using the signature Elite es60 more less as Studio monitoring and or audio mastering, in which I should add mainly for playback listening after recorded music. I have them wired in with 12 gauge speakon cables utilizing an adapter to the speaker cabinet itself. I have all the audio coming through a Tascam Model 24 and powered by a crown xls1002 amplifier. Running a constant 3/4 power off the amp adjusting the volume with the main slider on the Tascam mixing board. Although I have not pushed these speakers to their absolute limit I can say that they have been driven pretty hard. The base response is an absolute Powerhouse, extremely punchy and the mid and high range come through crystal clear. They reproduce the sound so well that listening back to a recording gives me chills as the snare drum sounds exactly what it sounds like, the cymbals so7nd like glass breaking. I am highly impressed with this product from Polk which I actually would not expect anything less. I could only imagine what it would sound like with a couple subwoofers added to the system.

I bought these speakers to use for music in a stereo system, no home theater. These Signature Elite ES60s are amazing. They reproduce the mids and highs so clearly and spaciously, with accuracy and depth, but what is even more remarkable is the bass capability. I'm kind of an old-school stereophile, and generally adhered to the philosophy that in order to obtain truly deep and truly strong bass, you had to have huge cones, period. Whatever magic Polk has done with the combination of the drivers, the cabinet and the power port, it works spectacularly...prodigious bass, even without being augmented by turning up the bass control, utilizing the loudness feature or the "Dynanic Bass Expander" feature found on my very powerful and heavy top-of-the-line Onkyo TX-108 from 1988. I won't speak for a HT setup, but I can say that for music you will not require a subwoofer if you own a pair of these. I sit and listen to various types of music, and shake my head at just how superb the sound quality is that I'm experiencing from these gems, no bi-amping or bi-wiring. For this kind of sonic superiority at this price, it's a no-brainer.

I bought the ES60's a couple of months ago and am pushing them with a Schiit Audio Freya tube preamp and two Schiit Vidar class A/B amps as mono blocks. The speakers sound really good in a balanced system using XLR cables and for the money these speakers are an excellent value.

I'm an older audiophile, after much research I found the ES60's. Was a fan of Matthew Polk years ago but was apprehensive given the bass specs but in comparing to others in the price range the choice became clear. After getting them connected (used 14 gauge wire from my Yamaha Receiver I've been pleasantly surprised by the bass response. I have them in a "live" room and while I had planned on buying a sub after playing Blues, Classic Rock, Metal, Salsa and a few Bob Marley songs I'm content with performance of the speakers.in all areas. Granted they don't kick like speakers with 12' woofers they're fine in my environment I would recommend them and would suggest giving them a listen at home before running out and getting a sub

I have always enjoyed a good sound quality in speakers since i was in my teens. I don't consider myself an audiophile but just want clean clear crisp sound. My wife and I listen to all kinds of music. I upgraded to these speakers from a bose jewel cube system. The improvement was day and night. I heard sounds in music that i was not hearing from the bose. The bass is clean and tight. The mids and highs are warm and crisp. They are also great in a home theater setup. If you match it with the polk center channel. I also have these speakers biamped which seemed to have opened them up a little more than just regular connection. This a great pair of towers for the price.

So, I bought my first real set of speakers, Boston Acoustic VR-30's in 1993 and i absolutely loved them. Decades came and went, new receiver after new receiver and I always kept my VR's. A few years ago I finally decided to start looking for a replacement. The VR's were looking a little rough. After researching a number of brands, I decided to give Polk a hard look. They had a loyal following and seemed to offer value for the money. After 29 years I finally did it and bought a pair of ES-60's, ES-20's, and an ES-35 center and WOW! I had no idea what I was missing! They're clean and clear. I'm hearing detail in my music I've never heard before. In a word, they sound fantastic! Having said that, nothing is perfect. They're a little on the bright side for my taste but I expect them to warm up a little after break in. And I'm not a fan of attaching the feet to MDF (medium density fiber). It's a weak point in the cabinet design that has potential, if not expectation to eventually fail. So move them gently. Aside from that, if value and performance are most important to you, you will not be disappointed. We don't all have $5000 to spend on speakers and these punch way above their weight. I would highly recommend these at this price point.

Moved to a larger home with a great room and my 25 year large bookshelf speakers were not giving the presence that I wanted. Consulted with Polk and the ES60 was recommended. All I can say is AWESOME room filling sound

Love this set of speakers. I was looking for an upgrade from some old JBL speakers, and an older set of Boston Acoustic. Highs and lows are better than expected for the price point.

Outstanding Speaker, My Mother even loved the sound. In your registration selection, you should put the right model in the listing, you don't have it. It was hard to register this product. It is Elite ES60 not S60E or E60S. And it is not black, it is Walnut Brown. Please put this in your model selection, thank you.

I'm really impressed with these ES60 speakers! The sound quality is amazing. These replaced my older R50s. This is my second pair of polk audio speakers. The highs are crisp and clear, the midrange is superb, and the bass is pretty good. The bass is enough for most music and movies, however if you like a lot of bass or more boom, then a subwoofer would be needed. Overall I'm very happy with the quality and value of these speakers!

So after tons of research and reading reviews, I went with these. These things showed up and I was not prepared for how huge they are. They are heavy and solid. Cranking them up is crystal clear and the bass is punchy. These are amazing towers

First time buying Polk speakers and did my research and ended up going with the SIGNATURE ELITE ES60 Black US. Budget was crucial and it was the highest quality of the Elite Signature series so I was happy with my choice and my home theatre/audio listening experience is awesome now with these speakers in my living room.

I bought two ES60 towers and an ES30 center channel to pair with Denon receiver. After biwiring the towers and getting the center channel hooked up I immediately played some hi res music and I was stunned at how good the clarity and depth was. These towers truly do have full range and for the price you'd be hard pressed to find anything better. I chose these over another major brand that has horn tweeters and the Polk towers sound much warmer and the highs are not as harsh. The walnut cabinet is very nice and sleek looking and is not just a big boxy cabinet. I will complete my surround sound with more speakers from the ES line in the future.
