Really Outstanding!
The best speaker I've ever owned or expect to own! I have them hooked up to my home theater but that really doesn't open them up and let them breathe! I then hooked'em up to my little Monoprice tube amp and wow! They're amazing! No, Really, Amazing! I can't turn it past 3! I'll NEVER get it up to 11 (Spinal Tap)! Everything is crystal clear and instruments I didn't know were in some songs are now sustained and pronounced. My girl just said "Holy Sh*t, I never really heard those cuts before".

Not for me anymore. Moved on
Had these and sold them. the SVS ultras blow these out of the water period. These are very large and heavy built speakers but the mids are just not there .They sound very muffled to me.

Great speakers, poor shipping thru UPS.
Speakers are great but shipping from this company is NO GOOD. They arrived with the boxes in pieces and destroyed. Don't know about the inside of these speakers weather they survived or not and really no way too tell, the outsides are Ok, don't know how thou. Adorama needs to send me new boxes for these, I always keep them.

Good speakers, just not my cup of tea.
First, Adorama did a great job, speakers were delivered to Indiana one day after order. I've never bought from this place before, but I am impressed.
Speakers were not as impressive as I'd hoped for music. These were replacing some old Polk Monitor 70's, that were powered by an Outlaw 5000 amp. On the Outlaw amp, these speakers were not possible to play loud. Based on an Iphone decibel meter app, these would hit about 93db peak. The 70's would get close to 100. Obviously these needed more power, so I bought an Emotiva XPA3.
I can finally FEEL the speakers. They will get over 100db on the same junky decibel app. Anyway, what I'm trying to say is they are maybe too laid back for my preferences. I'd rather have something where you feel the midbass in your chest. They do sound good and clear, they just lack the punch that I expected.
If you don't have a powerful amplifier (200wpc+), and don't plan to get one, don't buy these.

No reason to buy anything else!
Love them. Replaced Polk Rti A7. These are definitely a step up. Great price on sale. Delivered in less than a week. No issues. Have not spent much time listening to them just yet. But out of the box I have been extremely impressed. Can't imagine anything better at 2 to 3 times the price.

Where to even begin. First, these bad boys are big! Secondly, they are beautiful speakers. Finally, they sound fantastic. I've thrown all types of music at them and they have no problem handling it. But, they especially shine with Jazz music. They also sound excellent in home theater use as well. Highly recommended.

An absolutely staggering unit
This is absolutely great!!! Beautiful sound reproduction and looks great too.I was waiting for some time to replace my (quite) old HT speakers and I could not have been more happy when I got these on a deal from Adorama along with the center unit. Beware though, they are heavy...and bulky!!! And I am no audiophile, but I believe that you might not get the best sound if they are positioned close to a wall.

Great for the Price in comparison to the brands
The sound quality is great based on the price level of similar products from other brands. The wood finish may require additional touches since you can see the uneven waves on the surface and thin layer of coating.
You may need at least 100 watts linear power amp to drive each speaker. Otherwise, you only can hear the mid or high tweeter sound mostly.
I fully recommended the LSIM707 based on the budget, sound quality and overall look. If you do not hear what you expect, pleasure ensure to check the power of your amps before blaming on the units. Positioning of the speakers is also important (corner of the room or middle of the wall), which may impact the overall bass performance.
Just remove the cover grill and it may look better in your room.

The LSiM707, a giant step above the RTiA9
I have spent years grooming the A9's for 2ch although they doubled as H.T. speakers when the majority would say they were not that great for 2ch. Placement, room treatments, shielded cabling for each signal path, external amplification and presto, awesome 2ch speakers.
I made a blind purchase on the 707's due to numerous reviews and testimonies from those that had also owned A9's prior.
The 707's have not disappointed. Even without room treatments, the 707's image very well and provide detail and depth of sound stage that is much larger than that of the A9's. In fact so much so that after listening to the 707's in 2ch, they almost made the A9's sound of singular dimension. Difficult to believe after all the effort put in to making the A9's sound so good that each person I brought in for a demo would all respond the same... "WOW, that sounds incredible".
But true it is as the 707 opens the sound stage with greater depth and detail than what I've been used too. The detail is refined with broader separation of instruments so it feels like more of an immersion into the music.
I have a separate CD player connected via balanced XLR's to a Marantz pre processor, the 8802, and the speakers are amped with an Emotiva Reference XPA-DR3 offering 450wpc also connected via balanced XLR's. And all of this in a smallish room, 15' x 23', I can only imagine what they could do with more room around them!!!
These speakers are great for H.T. however I would recommend them for stand alone 2ch playback in addition to the bass that is produced from these towers.
No regrets or remorse whatsoever, highly recommended!!

Quite a speaker I’ve ever owned and I’ve owned a lot including the LS 25s much more detail in the mid range and Upper rangevery deep bass and incredible speaker for the price

Very satisfied with these speakers!
I originally purchased a LSiM703 center speaker and really liked the product. From then on I knew I wanted to get some LSiM707 speakers to at least complete my 3.1 Polk LSiM setup.
The 707s sound amazing and provide a dynamic range. These speakers really don't lack any range, it seems to be an all inclusive speaker. They're pretty powerful and easily fill the whole room up with sound. I don't even really need a subwoofer with these speakers. I am very happy with the purchase of these speakers and hope they last a lifetime!

One of the Best Performing Audiophile Speakers at Any Price
Polk LSIM707 is the ultimate in sound (and very beautiful). Significantly lower base reach than LSIM705. No need for a subwoofer at all. I am very pleased with my purchase.

Great looking and sound even better.
Speakers arrived quickly and in great shape. Still breaking these bad boys in but I'm really glad we pulled the trigger on these. These 707's sound more detailed than the old Klipsch speakers we have and can't wait to open the windows for the neighbors to give us their review! I'm sure they will sound as good a block or two away.
