I have owned Pelican cases since they were first introduced, but have not purchased a newer one until now. The closure hasp mechanism is much improved. No more snapping a finger with the updated easy opening hasp. The hasp fastener is now opened with ease. Great case as one would expect from Pelican.

I purchased this case to hold a couple lenses and various small accessories for my A7ii Camera. I keep the camera and 1 or 2 small lenses in my camera bag that i take with me everyday, but i needed something to keep my other lenses and accessories in that i don't use everyday, but want to keep in my car incase i need. This is the perfect solution. its small enough to not take up a lot of space, but big enough to hold a few lenses and thoroughly protect them while packed away in the trunk of my car.

Professionally, our small business uses this case to house portable solar generators that are designed to survive harsh environments, maintain a water tight and a stable atmospheric pressure. Personally, anything sensitive that I may want to transport is virtually guaranteed to survive when packed within a Pelican. Great case, I have a number of Pelican cases for all of my gear. This one I use for my GoPro + Accessories, and it works great for transporting and storing all the stuff securely! Very manageable weight and size for on location shooting!

We use this product for our expeditionary field kit that houses a portable solar powered generator. The Pelican is something I had experience with in the military and you cannot get a better case for your stuff than on of these little gems.

This is a good size to store a DSLR (Canon XTi) and a few lenses. I mount it on top of the deck of my sea kayak. It has a low enough profile that it does not obstruct using the kayak, yet can store a decent amount of stuff. I feel pretty confident that if I had a tip over, this case would keep everything fine.

What can one say about one of the BEST cases on the market. If you value your expensive gear then put it in a case that will protect it. Durabal, water tight, lots of foam cushioning and not a bad weight. I value my camera gear and the cost of replacement makes the Pelican well worth the money. An example of what I'm talking about occured on my last Alaska trip, after bouncing over rocks, trecking through wet vegetation and crossing streams, there was no doubt my camera would work when I removed it from THE CASE, that is what it is all about.
