Designed to excel in a multitude of applications, the AW-HE42 camera delivers superior results in conference videos, event captures, staging, distance learning, and houses-of-worship. Its precision 20X optical zoom lens, wide field of view, and smooth PTZ functions ensure exceptional image quality, making it ideal for demanding remote production and IMAG use.

The AW-HE42 camera also offers IP-Preview transmission and support for PoE+ (Power over Ethernet), allowing power to be supplied via a LAN cable. This feature provides the flexibility needed for easy installation and management.

The camera's optics are top-notch, featuring a 20x optical zoom and an intelligent zoom up to 30x, ensuring crisp close-ups even in large auditoriums and lecture halls. With an impressive signal-to-noise ratio, 1000 TV lines of resolution, and 16-axis color matrix control, the AW-HE42 camera delivers precise color "painting" and matching.

In addition to Panasonic's Dynamic Range Stretch (DRS) and advanced Digital Noise Reduction (DNR), the AW-HE42 camera includes a High Dynamic Range (HDR) mode, ensuring excellent video output even in extreme contrast and lighting conditions.

For shooting in near-total darkness, the AW-HE42's Night Mode allows for the capture of high-quality, HD monochrome video with the use of an optional IR illuminator in the 850nm range. This feature makes the camera ideal for reality show production, sleep lab research, and staging support.

The AW-HE42 camera is lightweight and versatile, with a pan range of +/-175 degrees and a tilt range of -30 to +90 degrees, covering a wide shooting area. It operates quietly at a sound level of NC35 or lower and can store up to 100 preset positions and camera settings.

The camera's professional interfacing includes 3G-SDI and IP/Network for single cable delivery of high-quality content up to 1080/60i. It also features audio input and embedding (on IP, HDMI) via a switchable, stereo MIC/LINE input.

The AW-HE42 camera can be utilized as a USB camera using standard USB Video/Audio class drivers, allowing for easy connection to teleconferencing or software switching solutions. Alternatively, microSD recording enables ISO MP4/H.264 recording internally in the camera, with content transfer over the network via web browser or FTP.

The AW-HE42 camera is available in two colors, pearl white and black matte, and includes a twist-lock ceiling mount as a standard accessory. It also features a 1/4-20 tripod mounting screw receptacle and a safety lanyard for use with various mounting and grip systems. With its blend-in design and flexible installation options, the AW-HE42 camera is easy to integrate into any setting.
