About Premier Imaging Art Matte Fine Art Paper (8.5x11"), 500 Sheets Double-Sided
PremierArtTM Smooth Fine Art paper is a museum grade paper made from a hot pressmould that provides a very smooth surface to the paper. This smooth surface is ideal for photography and art reproduction. The high resolution coating has an excellent D-Max which expands the tonal rangeof the paper, resulting in a higher color gamut than any other museum grade rag on the market.
100% Cotton, Acid free! Smooth Fine Art paper is naturally acid and lignin free and is buffered for added stability. The high resolution coating is also acid free, ensuring the longevity of the paper.
This museum grade paper is free of OBA's, giving you confidence the print you make today will match in years to come provided long life pigmented inks are used. This is especially critical in art reproduction and fine art photography where image permanence is critical to the value of the piece.
Image Permanence:
This paper has been engineered to be extremely stable. From the mould made 100% cotton base, to the alkaline buffering that meets the Library of Congress criteria for archival papers, to the acid free coating. PremierArt is bringing permanence to the digital world!
Finishing
For the longest lasting image, the print should be either framed under glass or sealed with a protective coating. PremierArt Smooth art paper has been formulated especially for PremierArt papers, and will increase the life on the image significantly, while protecting the print from scuffing and other physical abrasions. Print Shield has been tested by WIR and has been shown to significantly increase the Image Permanence Ratings of tested media.
