Performance
TierBoost available on the VTrak N1616, is a data tier management service that automatically classifies data by frequency of access. "Hot" data is migrated to the fastest tier (NVMe SSD), while the "Cold" data is placed in lower priority tier (SATA HDD), a middle tier contains "Warm" data with frequency access in between the other tiers.
Data Protection is Essential
Protection against data loss is ensured by the famous PromiseRAID engine featured in the entire VTrak line of network storage systems. Additional backup mechanisms to cloud or remote storage are easily managed using the web-based management interface.
Manageability
Simplified administration is another win for VTrak N-Series. The system is shipped ready to use with a Shared Storage pool that includes an administrator-controlled Team folder setup for immediate sharing. The software for both administrator and client is very easy to use, with an intuitive GUI. The default setup requires very little administration yet still gives complete access control to the administrator. More advanced system administration is available using the web-based management user interface.
