The PocketWizard PlusXe Transceiver is the latest innovation in our E Release family, designed to elevate your photography experience with seamless wireless control. This advanced transceiver mirrors the functionality of the standard PlusX but introduces the flexibility to switch between the cutting-edge E Release firmware protocol and the reliable Legacy firmware. Fully backward compatible, the PlusXe integrates effortlessly with all PocketWizard-enabled devices and the Raven by Fusion TLC, ensuring a smooth transition for existing users.

Switching firmware versions is a breeze with the PlusXe, as it allows you to toggle between them directly on the unit without the need for a computer or additional software. This makes the PlusXe the most user-friendly PocketWizard radio to date, ideal for photographers new to the PocketWizard Wireless System. To get started, simply attach one PlusXe to your camera and another to a remote flash using a flash sync cable, set both to the same channel, and you're ready to shoot. For remote camera triggering, just connect the appropriate remote camera cable.

The PlusXe offers 10 channels, providing you with the freedom to operate in your own "zone." This feature is particularly useful in crowded environments, allowing you to claim a channel for exclusive triggering. You can easily switch between channels for different setups or creative looks using the intuitive backlit channel dial, which remains illuminated for convenience without draining power.

The PlusXe's Auto-Relay Mode allows you to synchronize a remote camera with remote flashes using just three PocketWizard radios. This feature automatically triggers the camera's motor drive and then switches to transmit mode to activate remote flashes, streamlining your workflow.

A tri-color LED status indicator provides real-time feedback on signal transmission and battery life, ensuring you're always informed. With ultra-fast microprocessors, the PlusXe delivers reliable sync speeds of 1/250 for focal plane shutters and 1/500 for leaf shutters, maintaining the high standards of range and reliability associated with PocketWizard products.
