This black, compact EVF adapter is designed to enhance your camera's functionality by providing a 16-pin output. This output not only powers your camera but also facilitates video transmission and control to the RED Compact EVF and DSMC2 RED EVF (OLED).One of the standout features of the DSMC3 Adapter A is its Run-Stop trigger pass-through. This feature allows the operator to use it with the V-RAPTOR, Compact Top Handles, and even Third-Party accessories, making it a versatile addition to your camera gear.However, it's important to note that the DSMC3 Adapter A is not compatible with the DSMC3 RED Touch 7.0" LCD or the KOMODO Outrigger Handle. It is specifically designed to be used with and mounted on the KOMODO-X, V-RAPTOR, and V-RAPTOR XL. While the KOMODO-X is not currently supported, firmware support is expected to arrive in late February 2024.To ensure the longevity of your camera and the adapter, it is recommended that the DSMC3 Adapter A should only be attached or removed when the camera is powered off. This precaution helps prevent any potential damage to the camera, ensuring that you can continue capturing stunning visuals without interruption.
