PEPPI S : What is Magic Bullet Photolooks and for what do you use it ?IRVING S : I have not used it. I am not familiar with what it does. it appears to be a program to use in conjunction with PhotoShop. However, I am not sure.
IrvWILLIAM C : The disc would not load. I could not use it.BLAINE B : I received this free with my camera purchase. It is filters for Photoshop. I use it with CS5. It allows you modify your pictures with different effects. I don't use it a lot, but it has some interesting looks.
You can go to their website to see some examples.
Shopper : I received my new Canon 7D that included Magic Bullet PhotoLooks v1.5 on a disc. When attempting to install the software it will not take the serial number that is on the sleeve of the disk. The number is MBPF 1500 9080 3558 4757
Any idea what I'm doing wrong?LOUIS Z : The CD had a win installation directory on it that had instructions for installing the product. First thing it asked was to go to their web site to look for updated software which I did. It installed once I followed the instructions, and registered the product ok with the supplied serial. Playing with it thjough, it appears that it is looking for a serial number to be able to unlock and save photo's. I received a email as part of the registration, but it indicated I had a demo and was looking for me to purchase.
I am going to have to contact their support to see what is going on.
I have win 7 which also indicates some possible problems with serials. Needless to say, my copy is not behaving correctly either..James L : Sorry _ can't help. I am still within the 30 return window and have not yet opened the software.KASSIE P : When this comes with your kit, you are only receiving ONE of the programs on there. therefore, the serial number only works for that one. the disc itself comes with many more, but you must purchase them before accessing them. i struggled with this myself when i first tried to install it. the product "looks builder" is the only thing that actually comes with your canon 7D kit.JIMAGE P : I'm not going to be much help, but I can tell you that I was unable to use my MBPhotolooks, because it won't work in XP with CS5. I contacted Red Giant through their website and worked with them via online chat. My CD wouldn't auto-start when I put it into the computer. Eventually we found the .exe file for Photolooks, but then discovered it wouldn't work unless I put CS4 back on the computer.
I'm not a very happy customer, and I apologize I can't help you directly, but I would suggest going to their website and trying the chat option. Good luck!BLAINE B : I did receive the same thing with my camera and installed it. I remember having to play with the serial number, either leaving out dashes or spaces and verifying 0's verse O's but I did get it to work.
Sorry I can't be of more help, but the serial number did work fine. Obviously if you can't get it to work, I would contact the manufacturer for a new serial.
BlaineJAKE D : Yes, I had same issue. It's been updated, go to their website and open up chat support to install update with new s/n
Hope this helps.
Shopper : works with all SLR cameras?SANDRA C : sorry I can not help as I do not have Photoshop so I can not use it yet.
