For maximum flexibility, the 12Mic features both coaxial and optical MADI I/O, which can be used independently or redundantly. These can be utilized for daisy-chaining, merging, and converting MADI signals with incredibly low latency. The 12Mic is the first RME device to offer two fully redundant network ports, meticulously implementing the IEEE standards for audio-streaming, discovery, and control. Control all device states directly from the front panel or remotely via a web-interface on any network link, including wirelessly over Wi-Fi. The integrated routing matrix allows for quick routing of any analog inputs straight to the headphone output, as well as all digital signals and AVB streams.
