Let the RME ADI-6432 Bidirectional 64 Channel 24-Bit/192kHz MADI/AES Format Converter be the cornerstone of your professional audio setup, offering unparalleled audio signal conversion capabilities. This sophisticated device is designed to meet the demands of advanced audio production environments, seamlessly converting between MADI and AES formats with precision and ease.
The ADI-6432 supports a remarkable 64 channels of high-quality audio conversion, ensuring that your audio retains its pristine quality through the conversion process with a high resolution of 24-bit/192kHz. This state-of-the-art unit is ideal for a variety of applications, including use as a digital multicore system or as an AES/EBU frontend for the Hammerfall DSP MADI PCI card.
Constructed with a 2-unit height in a standard 19" rack-mountable design, the ADI-6432 provides ample space for all necessary connectors and control elements. It features a comprehensive array of interfaces, including BNC word clock, DB-25, fiber optic, and MIDI, offering versatility for integration into any professional audio system.
The ADI-6432's advanced feature set includes MADI Multinorm, MADI Dual I/O, and MADI Quad Wire capabilities, as well as a MADI Redundancy option for critical applications where audio signal integrity is paramount. RME's proprietary technologies such as SteadyClock, Intelligent Clock Control (ICC), SyncCheck, and SyncAlign ensure maximum jitter reduction, clock regeneration, and perfect synchronization of all audio signals.
Unique status displays for both MADI and AES provide immediate visual feedback on the lock and sync states, audio content, and the physical quality of the incoming signal. The front panel boasts an impressive sync and audio state display with 97 LEDs, allowing for quick and direct monitoring of all aspects of the device's performance.
The ADI-6432 also excels in connectivity and control, with the ability to transfer MIDI and RS-232 data over MADI. The SERIAL/MIDI Extender feature allows for 16 MIDI channels to be sent alongside the full count of 64 audio channels, without compromising audio quality. The device can also function as an extender for serial cables via its 9-pin COM port, supporting various baud rates.
For environments where remote operation is essential, the ADI-6432 is completely controllable via MIDI, with all status displays accessible through MIDI commands. Each unit can be assigned a unique ID, enabling individual remote control of multiple devices using a single MIDI channel.
The RME ADI-6432 is not only compatible with MADI interfaces from renowned manufacturers such as Sony, Merging, Lawo, Euphonix, Stagetec, Junger, Audio Service, AMS, and others, but it also stands out as a professional-grade tool that ensures the highest fidelity in audio signal conversion.
