Drums and bass, so nice to have both, this is great for messing around, and keeping it simple. But I'm already finding the length limiting. 32 steps hard limit and you cannot automatically chain together two parts. So, somebody has to manually flip between parts constantly throughout a song, defeating the purpose of a looping sequencer. I'm sorry 32 steps is half of a musical idea. Especially for a bass part, a pattern of chord changes often has to be more than eight measures. Even the original 808 from 40 years ago has an easy "song mode" for stringing together multiple parts. I somewhat regret buying this and should have just gotten an 808 clone and a bass synth of some kind.

If your music is a short repetitive beat that morphs over time, the t8 can work fine. Or if you want to be manually on your toes switching parts every five seconds you might be able to make songs with longer ideas in them. But come on, either give us 64 steps or a song mode. Having neither limits you to mostly just messing around. 

But on that note, this is very easy and fun to mess around with. Look up the manual, there are some key combinations that are not obvious at first but you will learn them quickly and then it's super easy to jam out. You can clear a pattern and create a new dynamic lively beat in very little time. As long as you keep the musical ideas simple and repetitive.

Does a lot, but not whole songs
