This all-maple guitar, with a flat-top semi-hollow body and set-neck construction, is a classic throwback design from tip to tail and an authentically rich 12-string sound. The larger body allows for a more naturally resonant tone, and the cutaway at the neck (Schecter's Ultra Access design) gives you all the room you need to reach for the top of the scale.
The guitar features Schecter's own Diamond Tubebucker pickups, a powerful pro-grade option made specifically for Schecter's guitars. Chrome on-body controls include two volume knobs, two tone knobs, a 3-way pickup switch, and a 2-way coil split switch, giving you more leeway than ever right at your fingertips. You'll also get a soft-V neck for maximal playing comfort, Grover tuners, 22 X-Jumbo frets, and a set of Ernie Ball Regular Slinky .010-gauge strings.
Body & Neck Construction
Maple through-and-through. The guitar is balanced and sturdy, but with vibrant wood like the maple used here, you'll lose no resonance or tone when playing softly. The 3-piece set-neck build offers more stiffness than a bolt-on style neck.
Hardware & Accessories
This guitar is positively loaded with on-body controls, which means you can tune and tweak your sound quite a bit without walking over to the amplifier. You get two tone knobs, two volume knobs, a 3-way tone switch, and a 2-way coil split switch, all to wrangle in the power of the Schecter Diamond TubeBuckers.
Design & Feel
It carries tone and volume well, and the wood's stiffness helps the body to project that natural semi-hollow acoustic sound. Deep cutaways at the base of the neck give access to the topmost frets, and the height of the frets makes it easier to play by feel than a lower-action setup.
