About Schecter S-1 Vintage

With a full-mahogany construction and cherrywood top finish, the S-1 from Schecter is a high-grade instrument that's ready to perform. The body features a semi-transparent surface to bring out the rich color and woodgrain, and the on-body controls - nickel Grip Tip bell knobs with a gleaming TonePros bridge and tailpiece - stand out and perform exactly as they should. The pickups are Schecter's own Diamond Plus, delivering rich and dynamic sound through whatever amplifier you choose with high output capacity and responsive mode changes.

There are 22 X-Jumbo frets on the rosewood fretboard, and the 3-piece set-neck design adds stabilityto a rock-solid build. The guitar head's Grover tuners keep everything strung just tight enough, and paired with Ernie Ball's Regular Slinky .010-.046 range, this is a setup that can take you from humming and strumming to rocking and rolling with the flip of a switch or the twist of a knob.

Body Construction
This is a mahogany-shaped body, with passive internals and a readiness for big sound; the pickups are uncovered, allowing maximum responsiveness and tonality.

Neck Build
A 3-piece mahogany set-neck is durable, solid, and well-balanced, and features 22 X-Jumbo frets for easy fingerwork. The trapezoidal "tempest-style" mother-of-pearl inlays are easy visual markers, not to mention making a stylish statement, and the Grover tuners are a pro-level aid to keeping every note perfect through a set.

On-Body Controls
Classic rubberized bell knobs with numbered markings, plus a three-way tone switch for bridge and neck pickup control, give you full control of the guitar's output. Once you have your settings dialed, Schecter's Diamond Plus pickups will never miss a beat.

Schecter Diamond Plus Pickups
Made in-house by the legendary guitar manufacturer, the growling tone from these powerful pickups can sound great from the clean end of the spectrum to being covered in fuzz and distortion.
