Schecter S-II Platinum Electric Guitar, Ebony Fretboard, Satin Black

The Schecter S-II Platinum features a mahogany body, maple neck, ebony fretboard, and set-neck construction. The dark fretboard makes the platinum inlays stand out and shine alongside the satin chrome hardware on the guitar body. Two humbucker pickups carry the body's bright tone through active 9V Schecter internals and controls, and locking tuner pegs keep everything just tight enough.

The guitar comes strung with Ernie Ball Regular Slinky strings (.010-.046 gauge) overtop the 24 jumbo-sized frets.

Construction
This guitar is constructed with a mahogany body and maple set-neck, giving a rock-solid feel that's still lightweight and well-balanced.

Hardware & Accessories
Equipped with EMG humbucker pickups and 9V-powered active internals, this guitar gives you hands-on playing control with volume and tone knobs as well as a 3-way pickup switch. The bridge is from TonePros, and the tuners are Schecter's own locking pegs.

Design & Feel
With 24 X-Jumbo frets, fingerwork is made quicker and less nuanced to help you nail your chords. The "thin-C" neck shape retains stiffness while giving your hands more room to wrap around the fretboard. And because the neck is made from a lighter wood than the body, the balance and weight of the guitar stay close to the body when you play standing up.
