Shopper : Is it for 110v or batterie power. Would it fit on top of a 10and 7/8 inch wide basket ? Has it forward , stop and reverse switch ?.JOHN L : It plugs into a 110 volt wall outlet. Has a sliding arm which can be placed on top of any wide mouth waste basket. It has all 3 switches.PATRICIA M : YES IT IS FOR 110V NOT BATTERY POWER. YES IT WOULD FIT ON TOP OF A 10 7/8 INCH BASKET, I HAVE IT ON MINE WHICH IS 13 INCHES. IT ACTUALLY WOULD FIT ON A 14 INCH BASKET EASILY. IT HAS AUTO, OFF AND REVERSE SETTINGS. I ALSO LIKE THAT YOU CAN TURN IT OFF COMPLETLY WHEN NOT IN USE. I'VE HAD MINE FOR A FEW MONTHS AND HAVE DONE A LOT OF SHREDDING, IT'S MUCH BETTER THAN THE OLD UNIVERSAL I HAD BEFORE. I KEEP IT OILED AND NO JAMS SO FAR. JUST MAKE SURE YOU ONLY SHRED 6 SHEETS OR LESS AT A TIME AND YOU WONT HAVE ANY PROBLEMS. IT A GREAT LITTLE MACHINE FOR THE PRICE.MICHAEL O : 110V and it's got the fwd, rev and stop switch. I can't speak to the basket, as I use the one that it came with.ANDREW R : This unit should be AC powered with controls for forward and reverse.
