About Shure RPM89
The Shure RPM89 is a Medium shotgun microphone Cartridge for use with the VP89L Microphone. It delivers a high output and possesses the tightest target aperture of all in the VP89 family, making it ideal for targeting sound sources over long distances such as required at sporting events, electronic news gathering, wildlife and film production.
It is made from an aluminum alloy finished in a charcoal-gray metallic paint which perfectly matches the finish on the preamplifier. Its extremely narrow pickup angle, frequency response of 100 Hz to 20 kHz and its unmatched quality of off-axis rejection have helped to place this microphone out in front of similar microphones.
