I currently use Sonos Five pair (two speakers) and the sound is amazing. The design is cool and I like it because it's perfect for every room. Easy to set streaming apps like Spotify, YT music, Deezer and others. Some of the settings are little hard to find. Also I had a little problem with my second Sonos Five and I had to connect with Online chat. They were super helpful. The app after the update is soo cool and finding the buttons is easier.

I spent a month watching videos and reading reviews before purchasing the five pair. Set up is simply perfection just a few minutes.. The App is one of the best I've ever used. The sound quality is out of this world. It's much better than expected. I have these set up 40 feet apart 8.5 feet off the ground. I was expecting to purchase 4 fives but the 2 is more than enough. It fills up the 700sf space with ease. I actually don't even need more than 70-80% volume. The bass is just enough to not need a sub and the clarity is honestly amazing. Ideally you want these closer together 10-20 ft but even at my 40ft span it sounds perfect. After the install I now understand why people that left positive reviews said just buy it. And I'm convinced all the negative reviews are people that have never owned these.

every easy to set up very simple to kook up to my turn table, I have the sound bar, the arc and the ray, these 2 five speakers are by far one of the best for true stereo.

Have been buying Sonia products for approximately 10 Years and have Original soundbar, Arc, Several Ones and a Play 5. Wanted to use Play 5 as stereo pair so bought a new 5. Then found they are incompatible as a stereo pair. Had to decide to buy another 5 or try a pair of ERA300s. As I didn't want surround I opted for another 5 to form the pair. I am using them in a home office and they are very good. Currently my work position is too close to get the best listening position so will have to work on this but when I get the recommended separation the sound quality is excellent. I compared against a friends Naim muSo 2nd gen and think the Sonos is better. I am only streaming from Amazon Music Inlimited and via Apple play2 so can't comment on any hi-res sources. Just disappointed that I didn't find out sooner that play5 and 5 are not compatible as a stereo pair.

Replaced two older (Gen 1) Play 5 speakers with new Five speakers. Great sound and really straightforward set up. The added advantage is that the old speakers have been repurposed to another room for family member.

I'm retired and married with children that are grown. I usually listen to music everyday by myself since my wife is still working, during this time I like to explore both old and new music just to hear how it sounds coming from my different Sonos speakers. On the weekend when my wife is off I like to playback and share some of the best that I've explored earlier on my Sonos, it then becomes a listening party. I know it's sounding good when I see her body moving with the clear sounds coming out of those speakers. Which BTW are a pair of Play ones, pair of gen2 fives and gen3 subwoofer

I have 2 gen3 subs paired with 2 5s all I can say is wow the whole room is filled with quality sound one sub is good but 2 take it to another level have the ports facing east other so when you are seated in front of the sound stage you will get the full sound of the subs

I have these as my surround speakers sitting horizontally for full stereo. I cannot begin to articulate how incredible the sound is for the TV, but especially music! I listen to a lost of industrial, EBM, darkwave, post punk, etc?. These are the literal perfect speakers for this music! If you can buy this set, you will NOT regret it!

I have: 1 Arc soundbar, 1 Move, 1 Gen3 Subwoofer, 1 Sub Mini, 2 Ones, 2 One SLs, and my favorite, 2 Fives. A Boost for network efficiency, a Port for connecting HiFi system, allowing me to use wired tower speakers with SONOS. I started off with Fives and Sub, decided to purchase the rest immediately when I heard them. That says it all.

Sonos speakers make you float in the universe. I'm from another dimension. I use two Sonos Five and two Sonos Play One. Listening to music in quadrophonie system takes music to another level. I love them.

I've installed the speakers (which was easy) and then used the Trueplay functionality. After that I started listening and the sound seems unbalanced, it seemed to be coming mostly from the left. After a while I discovered that the culprit was Trueplay. The problem is that the way you set up a pair of speakers (in a triangle with the listener) is not compatible with how Trueplay works (it balances the sound throughout the whole room). This makes the Trueplay experience frustrating in this case. I don't want the sound to be balanced in the whole room, I want to optimize it to my listening position in the "triangle". Anyway, besides that, it has been great.

I love all my Sonos speakers, but especially the two fives in my living room. They produce a wonderful, 3D aural experience that is so enjoyable to hear. If I ever start to take the sound for granted, I'm reminded of the superiority anytime I listen to other wireless speakers.

Sold Playbar and two One SL speakers and upgrade to two Fives using the upgrade offer. Originally planned to give one of the Fives to a family member but after trying out just one and then comparing it listening to two of them I am sorry but having two in stereo is unreal. I love this new sound, it's an expense well justified and they look cool too!

I have my system set up in my l/room and the quality of sound from the 'Five' speakers is Superb,coupled with the 'Hub' 3rd gen it just enhances your music quality even more as the level of 'Base' just Booms out throughout the house,I'm delighted with my new system being able to stream music also,FANTASTIC ????To Sonos.

Consultant in the store told me that I can use Sonos Five for TV and Vinyl player. I faced with sound latency problem if Sonos Five connected with 3.5 jack. I tried to use several solution from Internet but result the same (latency is exist). 1. I changed compression in the app but result the same (latency is exist) 2. I connected TV to Sonos Five via Sonos Port but result the same (latency is exist) I can use now Sonos Five only with streaming services and Vinyl player. I don't know what happen if I will use for example Sonos Ray with my 2 Sonos Five because I have the following combination: Sonos Playbar + Sonos Sub + 2 Sonos One SL. After connection Sonos One SL the Apple AirPlay 2 technology has been disabled and Sonos One SL works only as dummy satellite as back channel. I don't want have expensive 2 Sonos Five only as dummy satellite if combination with Sonos Ray has the same approach. I hope Sonos support team will contact with me to solve this issue

We needed some tunes for our gym. Put a 5 in and it was fine but I wanted more punch . We paired with another 5 and the gym came alive. Great sound all around, clear deep, loud!

I've been a SONOS customer for 17 years now. The GEN1 products are still serving a purpose while the latest GEN products are expanding the music options across my homes. I'm very proud of the investment I have made over the years. Thank you SONOS for great sound.

I owned a play5 gen1 and a play5 gen2. I had been giving some thought to a stereo pair but the incompatibility of the play5 gen2 and the Five made it difficult from a cost perspective. When the wireless card on the gen2 failed, Sonos said they would replace it with a refurbished gen2 which would leave me in the same position. I reached out to Sonos support asking for help and it worked out great. The rma unit that arrived was a Five which was a complete surprise. They went event further by providing a 50% off coupon which I used for a Five hifi set. Now I have three Fives (and my gen1 operates standalone) and I am thrilled. The stereo pair sounds fantastic. Sonos heard me when I reached out and really came through for me!

I set up my set of Fives in my bedroom where my old S1 Fives were before. I couldn't be more pleased. I did add a Sonos subwoofer to this new set for more bass and it sounds like it's advertised, very tight bass with no rattles coming from the sub whatsoever, just clean loud bass!

I am totally satisfied with My Sonos system. With a lossless music system (Sonos HD, Tidal etc) the true ability of Sonos is experienced. Precise high frequency, crystal clear mid frequency and Solid stable low frequency. My ears are happy ?? with the ability to play music in every room in my house and outside is very versatile with Wi-Fi connection. Great sounding music everywhere when I want it is a joy. The ability to play different genre of music in each room is wonderful. I could go on and on about Sonos, the bottom line, it's a great and versatile system and the cost is perfect. 5 stars for Sonos, amazing products.
