Shopper : does this come with a memory card? It has internal memory? Can u explain that to me?SCOT N : This camera doesn't come standard with a memory card. I bought a package that included a memory card, a cleaning kit, and a camera bag. The internal memory is like a memory card that isn't removable from the camera. It will allow you to record about 3 hours of video. You can connect your camera to a computer to download the recordings. You don't need to purchase a memory to card to record with this camera, but if you feel you'll be recording more than 3 hours before you download or you want to leave the recording on a card, you should get one. Hope this answered your question.ANDREW R : This unit is equipped with 8GB internal flash memory but can also use Memory Stick PRO Duo (Mark 2); Memory Stick PRO-HG Duo; SD/ SDHC/ SDXC Memory Card (Class 4 or Higher) for additional storage. No memory card is included with this camera.
jerry c : How do you use highlight playback with computer?ANDREW R : The highlight function is built into the camera and is not available via a computer. Once a highlight clip is assembled, the finished movie may be converted to HD and saved onto a computer or disk.
CONNIE K : Is this unit capable of shoting standard vid and not just HD..And if using HD will the recordings feed to a standard tv ?Glen H : This camcorder can record in either High-Def or Standard-Def. Playback to a standard TV is possible with the included A/V cable (depending on the inputs included on your TV). Movies captured in HD will playback in Standard Definition when the camcorder is connected via the A/V cable to a standard TV.

The SonyHDR-CX210 High Definition Handycam Camcorder (Black) shoots Full HD 1920 x 1080/60p video and can capture 5.3 megapixel still images as well. It features 8GB of embedded flash memory, which provides up to three hours of recording. The camcorder is equipped with a back-illuminated Exmor CMOS sensor that's ideal for low-light situations. Plus, it features a wide angle Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar lens that supports 25x optical zoom and 30x extended zoom. There's also a 2.7" touch screen Clear Photo LCD display for easy recording and instant playback.

The HDR-CX210 comes outfitted with several video enhancing features. It has a Tracking Focus function that follows selected subjects as you record. The microphone features 5.1 channel surround sound for dynamic and vivid surround audio. The camcorder also has Intelligent Auto, which supports 60 different scene combinations. It has Sony's SteadyShot image stabilization with Active Mode as well.

Sony added a few playback and connection conveniences as well. The HDR-CX210 features Event Browse, which groups video and stills by each particular recording session automatically. It also has a Highlight Playback function that creates movies with transitions and soundtracks for you automatically. With the HDR-CX210, you can use the Direct Copy feature to transfer your HD footage directly to a hard drive without even using a PC. However, if you do want to upload videos onto Facebook and YouTube, the camcorder comes with a built-in USB cable, as well as editing and application software.
