Bought this knife at Walmart, and it was a very well spent sixty dollars. I really like the blade and handle, and AUS8 is a great steel for hard use knives. I really like the soft sheath, and the pocket on front for a small sharpening stone/ lighter or whatever small tool you want to carry with your knife. I do wish the sheath had more of a quick disconnect than the button straps designed for Molle systems. The seal pup has been a great product for the entirety of its' production.

Looks like a toy. Nice knife! Easy to handle, the feel of it is great. What can you really say about a knife. Tuff for camping. I like the sheath it came with. Going to use it on my hikes and camping. Maybe spilt some more wood with it. So far, it's been great, shaved some wood to start fires.

This is the second one i bought! The first one was for my son when he was 14. He is now 22 and beat the snot out of the first one, but it wont die. He swears by that knife. I bought the new one for me as an every day carry in my backpack. I have a seal team elite that I keep on my bail out bag. I'm a cop in South Florida, and don't leave my house without one of those knives.

Been looking for a new EDC knife since my old one had broken on me. Look at the SEAL PUP a while back. Then when I seen it at Tractor Supply of all places I purchased it. I will say it's the best $60 I've spent in a long time. I've had it for roughly 6 months now and have proudly put the blade in a few breaking situations. Very, extremely well made knife. Well done SOG. Well done.

I bought my Seal Pup many years ago, and I carried it on every deployment and every jump that I made. When my M-4 failed to fire, the knife did not. My only complaint is that the sheath has over the years gotten a tad loose and developed a rattle. In this line of work, noises like that are definitely a no-go, so had to purchase a different one that doesn't work as well, but it's at least quiet.

While this is not a full tang knife, it has a blade which he both straight and serrated edges, which delivers terrific utility. And the sheath has positive retention via both snap and hook and loop, which means that the knife won't go missing when the going gets rough. Highly recommended.

The knife is great and has so far held up to the abuse I've put it through at work and at home. The only knock off for one star is due to the sheath. I'm left handed and can't mount the knife in what would be my optimal configuration due to the non-ambidextrous sheath, with no left-handed options from SOG for this knife.

This is a nice knife. I have the bigger version and this one. I actually prefer this one. It is a nice size, more than adequate for my needs, comfortable in my hand. It is attractive and well-made. The sheath is nice, the knife seats with a positive click but comes out easily. No complaints.

This knife was a replacement by SOG for a warranty issue. It is a decent knife for the price, the sheath is very adequate for the duty intended. The handle is small, but then it is called a mini pup! when I say small is fits a med. to small hand perfectly, but if you have meathooks, not your best choice. PS: I have seen several ratings that the snap is difficult, I can say that issues appear fixed, the snap is very workable. Also, the standard sheath is sturdy and adequate, but the upgrade looks to be much better, but the standard sheath is made of sturdy web material with rivets and a plastic insert to protect from blade cutting when inserting the knife. Would be a perfect knife for an older boy scout.

I bought the seal pup 3 years ago, it went through Infantry training, many field exercises, a deployment in Afghanistan, and knife combat training. It has never had an issue and never faulted while still looking in great shape. Would recommend the kydex sheath with it.

Bought this knife, with engraving, for the retirement of our Chief Pilot. Aircrew have a close association with knives as they are part of our kit in the event that we have to make a forced landing ... "off field". The presentation of a quality, useable knife that was engraved with our pilot's name, dates of service, and unit, was a well received and made the perfect retirement gift.

Got this for Christmas years ago when it first came out. Go to camp knife during deer hunting. Tuff knife, split pelvis bones while getting hammered on, used as can opener and to cut, chop, slice anything you can think of. I have gotten excellent service from this knife and its rugged sheath. I recently got my fathers hunting knife after he passed and that went to my son. This Seal Pup will go to my grandson because it will last that long and have lots of stories

I've had this knife 3 years and it is great. I go camping and Hunting with this knife and it has never let me down. It keeps an edge and is very versatile. It can and has done everything from Cleaning game to prepping it for dinner, and setting up camp in etween.
