Jessica S : Can you use the iPhone 5 on it?CLYDE M : Hi, My daughter has a four and it works but she says the five has a different slot on the bottom and unless there is an adapoter it will not work. Hope this helps. AllenCLYDE M : I don't know but will see if any my friends have phone 5 and try. AllenDANIEL S : The connector in the dock is NOT for an Iphone 5 however, if you buy (I think for like $20) an little adapter, you could plug it into the dock and because the phone sits in front of the unit (see picture), it would probably work fine. Unit does have good sound and features.Michael McBride M : Yes U can but u need an adapter. If you have your phone in a case then the short adaptor won't reach. I had to buy an adaptor with a short cord the two plugs. I got the adaptor on line but don't remember the vendor.KEVIN K : Yes but you have to have a Lightening to 30 pin adapter, easily bought from Apple, Amazon, Radio Shack etc.DAVE N : I believe that you can use the iPhone 5 on that speaker system, however you'll need to buy an adapter.

The unit is absolutely compatible with the iphone 4. use it every day to charge my phone at work.CLYDE M : I have not used the system with an iphone but with an ipod and the quality is really good and the volumne is more than enough. You have to make sure you turn the system off after using or it will be drained. I did that once. After use, I plug in and keep it charged plus you can keep hte ipod in and it is also charged. With the power cord, you could use in most modern cars that have an electrical outlet. I don't see any reason that the iphone wouldn't have similar results. Hope this helps

Excellent Ipod speaker with FM radio

Ipod Nano 6 compatible. 3 adapters included for all Iphones. FM reception is so good, extension of the antenna is unnecessary. Battery last all day on a boating outing. Remote is helpful, easier than the onboard buttons. Typical excellent Sony quality. If your need for a high quality portable Ipod speaker system, with FM reception, you can find better quality. Adorama's price is 5 to 7% lower than the competition.
