I use this hoping it would enhance the sound from my wall mounted Samsung TV. So far it has not. I am still trying it with different streaming shows and movies. However I am not optimistic.

Delay Sound
It's not very loud at all, I think my tv speakers are just as loud and the worst part is it's delayed sound. When I'm watching tv or movies it's like 2 seconds behind

Nice soundbar and affordable
Purchased this soundbar to replace another by a different company, mainly for our family room TV. The ease is set up is great and I love that it allows me to steam music from my own devices and also has its own streaming music.

I am pleased with the speaker
Purchased to use for listening to CDs through a DVD player, it operates through my TV, and I can now hear people talking on programmes instead of ramping up the volume and giving up. Tinnitus and some hearing loss has been my problem, but not now.

Superb upgrade to the TV built in soeakers
We thought we could get away with the TV built in sound for our family room, but no, after a day we added the Ray and it is amazing, superb sound upgrade for the second TV, easy to add my streaming music provider, and we are really impressed with the Sonos ease of set up and use, really nice. Ideally we would add a sub woofer but that's too expensive right now.

No I would not buy again it works, but there's challenges
The Ray has been pretty good. The problem is that I have a very old television so the optical connection is not exceptionally good. I think it would be better if I bought another unit to put the optical in and then use the HDMI port. There's lots of issues with volume

Bravo Sonos!
Great product and the expandability is the biggest plus. I really didn't think that much "punch" could come from such a small speaker. Very impressed with the sound quality.

I finally understand the hype
For the most part I really like this speaker. It was purchased to test integrations within my smart home environment with Home Assistant. The mid and highs are great, the sound is immersive, but it lacks bass. For its intended purpose I'm pretty happy with it, but if it is a main speaker it needs to be paired with a sub.

Good backup soundbar
Product work ok for a small unit. Shame about the TV remote control setup as had to contact your support for some help. My wife would never have been able to set it up on the TV remote. Other than that it works fine for a small unit on a large room. It has improved the voice on the TV thanks

Good sound - but no remote control for use with tv
It's a nuisance to rely on the phone app to control volume when watching the tv.. Ray should sync better to the other remote control devices

A great addition.
Its a great product it has the right amount of sound and bass , the connection was a slight challenge , but once I chatted with the online folks , they got me right where i needed to be . Its worth it for sure sounds like true surround sound for an affordable price .

Best sound bar ever.
This sound bar is amazing. It can be wireless and wired. It works with the remote I already had connected to my TV. Music sound surround sound is amazingly awesome. My children are able to use it. Cooking and cleaning has always been the same for me until now. I can have water running, the oven fan on and still hear the TV or music that I am playing in the dinning room/kitchen. And it is a nice size of a area to cover. But it does the job. I recommend this product a thousand times over again. Oh, I almost forgot. I also have my echo dot connected to it also and it works with that as well. The app is easy and fun to use. No matter what room your in. Pull out your phone and use the app or even set up alexa and use it for the sound bar. BEST SOUND BAR EVER!

The only sound bar you ever need!
We needed a new sound bar and didn't want one with bluetooth. The sound from Ray is wonderful! We also love that it isn't super long like our previous one. Perfect size and sound! This will be a repeat purchase we add one for another room.

Good soundbar
Bought it mainly for a wifi/airplay speaker. Easy to use. Good app. Would like the volume to be louder at its highest setting but it's also not really designed to be super loud. Works great for me. Great quality and easy setup. I really love it

Superb Sound
Absolutely love the rich sound for both tv and music! We recently moved from a home that was wired for sound inside and outside so we were sceptical that a single speaker could provide a similar sound experience, but Sonos has completely changed our minds! We plan on expanding our system in the future to include our back yard. We also appreciate being able to listen to music streaming platforms that we subscribe to.

I thought I'd try the Ray sound bar to replace some existing ones, to try to get more clear dialog, which most sound bars don't really bring out over all the background noise and music these days. I'm happy to say that the experiment was a success and I can hear voices and dialog much better than previously. I also love the simplicity of the setup and integration with my existing Sonos system.
