paired up quick with my droid. dont listen for any real bass, i am actually using it to supplement a vizio soundbar for sound reinforcement. place it back to the wall, sony knows like bose. i got mine with a scratch, worth every penny. btw, my vizio sound bar had a rca sub out, i got a rca to 3.5 cord and plugged it into the aux in. not real bass, i cant have a real sub anyway. what would be really cool is sony telling me what that blue programing plug in the battery compartment is capable of.

I have had this model and I had very different experience. I had to exchange it twice and finally return it. One of the problems was the reception. It is terrible. All units had that. After the second one I did research it and I found several comments that confirmed my experience. I was shocked to see that you pointed out the reception as strength. The other problem was for me the extremely unreliable and weak connection to phones or other devices. I had to always transfer to flash drive. The sound quality is not so great. It is distorted and lacks of high freq. (others complained about it) but it did not bothered me because I have used the unit for learning a language or listening to talk radio.

I have been setting in the same office in a metal building for 15 years - sad I know - and this is the FIRST radio I have ever brought in that would pick up a radio signal of any kind. It not only picks up signals but picks up AM and FM, crystal clear. I have tried numerous antennas and signal boosters - nothing - until now. Awesome. I just ordered a second one for my garage just because it's such a great radio.

for the size of this unit the sound its magnificent, i am also thankfully for the purchased and i recommend to anyone who want to have a small stylish and powerful stereo speakers.
