Simple and Mostly Effective

The sun shade really helps. Even with the brightness of the screen there are times when depending on the angle, the sun or a light source will cause glares and the sunshade takes care of a lot of those situations. The cage itself is great quality and it’s easy to install. However, if its one job is to protect the monitor, they could’ve covered it a bit better. A lot of the plastic of the monitor itself is still exposed. Though, your monitor will still be much safer with the cage than without it.

SmallRig Monitor Cage Kit for FEELWORLD LUT7/S/PRO 3837 is designed to provide protection and accessory points. The cage comes with 1/4"-20 threaded holes for Monitor Mount 2905 and Magic Arm 2070; ARRI 3/8" -16 locating holes for Magic Arm 2115 and Side Handle 2914; NATO rail for Magic Arm 2116. Its built-in cushions protect monitor, HDMI input and output cable clamps protect ports and prevent loosening. A sunhood is also included to facilitate shooting under strong light, improving shooting experience. Besides, the cage allows installing the original monitor mount on both sides and at the bottom.
