Versatile. I love this phone. Something as simple as a pivot creates an easy-going experience. Whether that's being able to study and have a video playing on the screen at the perfect angle, or taking a selfie with the ability to create different angles of view. Not to forget how comfortable I feel weilding this device knowing the screen is protected every time I fold it up. There's tons of more specs I could go on about but these things are what set this device apart from the competition.

Great phone. I had one for a little over a year and a half. Very compact. The front screen 8s very handy. The only complaint I have is the battery. It dies very quickly. I had to buy a battery brick just to get through a nine hour work day.

Wanted to love this phone, but it doesn't live up to promises. The screen cracked on me with normal use after 8 months of use. I never drop my phone and I have never cracked a screen previously. There is no Samsung repair place anywhere near me and I had to ship it off. Even though it was still under warranty, I had to pay around $120 to have it fixed and I was without a phone for almost 2 weeks. It absolutely needed to be repaired because the cracked screen caused the microphone not to work. You guessed it, the repaired screen began to fail after 8 months of normal use. I traded it in, but got very little for the trade-in due to cracked screen. If you like replacing your phone every 8 months, this is a cool phone. If you like a durable phone that lasts for years, then get something else.

I have always been a Samsung user. I use my Z Flip 3 for everyday personal use. I have used it for business as well but I have purchased a second phone for that. I don't stream as much on here but when I do, I enjoy it because the quality of the videos are crisp. I mainly use it for web browsing for researching, watching you tube, and making phone calls. This phone is sturdy, lightweight, and compact and that's why I purchased it. The only reason it did not get 5 stars is because of the battery life. I have to use the power saving toggle and it usually lasts me the whole day but I do have to charge it as soon as I get home. Ifbim out longer than expected i bring my charger with me to give it a boost. Good thing isnthatvit charges quickly. Other than that, this phone is all that I expected it to be!

I am totally disappointed with this phone. After a year the screen cracked at the fold line to the point that you could feel it and it distorted what you see. Fortunately I purchased insurance and got it replaced. Now a week later there are a couple "stars" or a green light coming through the screen. They are very small. Also is already showing a gray line at the fold. I was going to keep this phone after it was paid off to avoid having to upgrade immediately but with the problems I have experienced I will have to purchase a new one that is not a flip. I have ad a Samsung Galaxy phone for many years but may try a different one next time.

I have had this product for 10 months. The screen essentially cracked in half. There are a bunch of hairline cracks in the fold. It makes the fold in the phone extremely noticeable and annoying. If you would have asked me a week ago if I like this phone, I would say that I love it. But now I am not impressed with the durability of normal use of the phone. The battery life sucks. But I knew that going in. So I bought an external charger to keep in my bag. I bought the additional storage, but now I wish that I had not. All the replacement options are less storage than I paid for, while I am still working with my carrier to pay off the phone.

I bought the phone 1 year 2 months ago. Recently, the phone started to randomly turn off, and I'm not able to turn it on again if it's not plugged. I went to an official samsung customer care. Because it's more than 1 year, the phone is out of warranty. I've been told it's a loose connector, but because of how it's built, they will need to replace the whole screen, the repair costing almost $500. So after a bit more than a year I have a useless phone, it never got any scratches, but it costs as much as a new phone to fix. It seems it's done in purpose to discourage repairing it and forcing you to buy a new one.

I purchased this phone because when I went to get the Galaxy S series they were out of stock and I couldn't wait since my previous phone was broken. I like tge fact that it folds and it could fit anywhere. The screen feedback was pretty fast, camera was ok but not as good as the S series. Less than a year later the screen had some pixelation and there was something happening in the area when the screen folds. Needless to say I was disappointed since this is the only Galaxy phone that I've had that started malfunctioning without any reason.

Purchased this in November 2021. I was very excited having had great a great experience with the other Samsung phone products in the past, but this phone is not up to that quality. Avoid ZFlip at all costs! 1 Year and out of warranty that's when the issues start.. doesn't hold as long a charge, protective film they use cracks at the crease, and the screen goes black when flipping the phone open.

I've had this phone since end of August truly love the design. I brought a Otto Box which protects my screen and camera screen. So don't have screen problems. My daughter lives across the street from me, she can hear me talk I can't hear her, so she calls me back and we can now hear each other. It also will cut in and so only hear maybe every three words. Last time this happened I was on the phone with my Doctor. He had to recall me on my husband's old basic flip phone. I try to reach support but can't get through. I depend on phone.

Be forewarned the fold and flip features are cool and convenient but the screens do not last. Pixel and crease cracking issues will happen after the warrant expires and samsung will be of no help. These screens ultimately cost north of 400 dollars to repair.

The phone itself is great; however, the peeling of the face covering on the phone is horrible. Even though I've not dropped my phone nor waste anything on it, the screen covering continues to peel away along with sounds of cracking and popping when I flip the phone to open it up. It's very unappealing with this air pocket between the center of the phone. It also gathers dust and lent long the edges and between the center of the phone. It's very irritating after a while. I purchased this phone over 1 yr and 3 months ago, but the separation and peeling of the screen began about 5-6 months after purchasing it.

I am unsure where to begin. I am currently writing this review on my laptop, as my 5th samsung galaxy z-flip 3 has yet again, broken. I admit, i am not perfect and i do sometimes drop things, and i always pay extra for any device of mine to have insurance. Tmobile has been my provider for nearly 9 years now.. During this time i have always maintained an active insurance plan for each and every device of mine (all samsung). I have never had to file a single claim for a broken device. I admit, some of my samsung devices had issues with battery life, but other than this i was always very happy with my samsung phones Until i became the Un-proud owner of the z-flip3. Now dont get me wrong, owning the phone at first was exciting, it is a conversation piece that when it debuted, people were just dying to get a look at. every day, i would hear "look! it's that folding phone!, its so cool!" or if approached, i'd often be asked "how do you like it?" and sadly, my response has always been the same "i hate it". i knew i had made the wrong purchase since day 1. I fully charged the battery, and followed all instructions for the device. I began to play around with the settings, and noticed that the battery of my phone which has been unplugged for 20 minutes, was now down to 78%, and decreasing quickly. I figured maybe it is not fully charged and the reading was inaccurate, and brushed it off, thinking that it was just a new phone issue, and after a few days, would resolve itself. Day 2 - the phone was still so new on the market, that when i purchased it, there were no phone cases available for me to purchase! I was walking into the supermarket, phone in hand, and i felt it accidentally slip out of my grip (due to the design and awkward dimensions), and hit the floor. I am not a tall man, im only 5'6'' and a drop from my hand to the floor is not a very long one (lol). i picked up my brand new phone, and my heart sunk. the front screen was shattered, the edges of the device were all scraped, and the camera was not working. i couldnt believe my bad luck, 2 days with the phone and it was done for. i returned and got a new one, thinking that maybe this 1st one was a lemon. Nope - same experience on device # 2, only this time the inside screen was peeling at the halfway folding point. This one lasted me a few months before it ultimately stopped working. Devices 3 and 4 - the main screen stopped working. device 5 - damaged upon arrival. All devices have had the same (horrible) battery life. I was told that due to the design of the folding device, the battery size was compromised, and is approximately 50% the size of a battery of a traditional , non-folding phone. I cannot go anywhere without a power-bank (mine is called Hillary a.k.a Hillary Banks), and i cannot count on two hands and feet the amount of times i was put into a bad situation because my phone had died rapidly or unexpectedly. the power bank becomes less of a power bank, and more like life support for the battery draining z-flip 3. i use a 20,000 power bank, one of the fastest and largest on the market, and even with this, the z-flip sucks it dry at record speeds. The cover screen is pointless, and is mearly just a display for the time. everything else which one would do, prompts the message "open your phone to continue". so silly. The flex-mode which is the point of this folding phone, is really only capable to work with a handfull of apps, and serves no real purpose. I will admit, the camera on the phone is amazing, and i have taken some very beautiful shots with it. Overall, id say to every consumer interested in this phone, to avoid for now! Samsung has still got some work to do on this folding device, and the two main things would be durability, and battery life. I'd also like for samsung to add some more "exclusive features" to these folding phones. Features that actually serve a purpose, and are not just asthetically pleasing, like the cover screen which serves 0 purpose. It shows notification bubbles (ex- messages, snapchat, facebook, etc), but it would not show you any information on these notifications. just the same "open screen to contine" message. So yeah, this exclusive cover screen, is really not so functional, and at times frustrating. Hope this helps!

Worked great for about 6 months then half of the touch screen stopped working!! Samsung would not replace the phone so I had to send it in for service. Took it to the store I bought it to make sure all my data was backed up. Sent it in for repair. When I got it back I could not retrieve my pictures or data. The repair is good but I am afraid to fold it because I am afraid it will break again! I tried to trade it for a different phone but I owe more than the phone is worth!! Do not buy this phone, it is junk!!!

Bought this in March and where the phone folds the screen is all messed up... I carry insurance through our wireless provider and they want to charge 240 to fix it or 650 to get a different phone... samsung customer service said we could buy a different phone or drive about an hour away to see if a place of their choosing will fix it not sure of the cost yet...

We have a Samsung Flip3 phone we got from Verizon. It has a factory defect where there is a crease all the way across the phone. Samsung knows about this defect and has been repairing other peoples phone. BUT since my husband doesn?t use his phone as often as others and his crease didn?t show up in their time frame they will not repair it. This is wrong and do not buy any of their flip phones. Samsung will not stand behind it. Last Samsung we will ever buy. I guess I will try Apple since we love our ipads

Purchased this phone refurbished off of Amazon for Christmas. Let me just say- this is the best phone I've ever had. I love how it can fold into a smaller form factor and fit into my pocket, and I love how fast it is- the cameras as well as leaps and bounds above my old phone. I sent it to my provider's insurance and had it replaced about a month later, as I would pay less for insurance than to have it fixed. I was sent a new model shortly, and everything was great. Until this week, when the issue with the crease returned. I will have to have my phone repaired again. The two repairs have cost almost as much as the phone and I now wish I had avoided this model of phone altogether. The software of the phone, camera quality, and screen resolution are great, but the durability for the screen is not up to par. I will contact samsung care again to see if it will be deemed within warranty. I personally would recommend not purchasing this model of phone due to it's fragility in comparison to other phones
