Outstanding quality and set up was very easy, hardest part was the time in the attic. Just make sure you drill the holes big enough for the plug ends to pass through easily.

I installed the DVR4-4600 4 channel security system in July 2016; I was very pleased with the system initially, but soon after installation the DVR would lock up and not record any activity for hours and even days at a time on all 4 cameras and then start to work again and lockup, repeating this over and over. After numerous calls to Swann tech support and following their suggestions with no success the original DVR was replaced. That new DVR experienced the same problems so a third DVR was sent. That 3rd DVR also locked up and would stop recording for hours and days at a time just like the previous 2 DVRs. Over the next 9 months Swann support made many suggestions including; don?¢‚Ǩ:tm:t use an extension cord to power the DVR, reformat the hard drive, reboot the DVR, go to factory default settings, replace the camera and DVR power supplies, check for power outages in my home, etc. all with no solution to the problem. The problem that Swann support never addressed was the location of the DVR and what major electrical devices are located near the DVR. I located the DVR on the other side of a wall about 10 feet away from my home?¢‚Ǩ:tm:s HVAC air handler. EMF interference from this unit was causing the problems with the DVR. This DVR has a plastic case not a metal case and the plastic case was not shielding the DVR from electromagnetic interference. I constructed a small faraday cage enclosure for the DVR and solved the problems. The DVR has been working for over a month now without any problems. Swann should either revise this DVR to have a metal case or caution the purchaser not to locate the DVR near major electrical devices.

Great 1080p system, even better for the price. I added a couple more wide-angle cameras for a total of 6 now.

The cables and connections are great (just make sure you get them the right way around - I had to re-run one because my M/F plugs were the wrong way around). Having power and BNC together makes it a breeze. Once done. it took just 10mins to have it all setup. The image quality is fantastic, settings are very logical and user friendly, Android phone app worked first time too. Excellent product!

Had the wireless setup previous but never worked properly. No matter how many exchanges we made...but loving this one! Cables are not a hassle as have constant clear footage of property. Highly recommend this set up over wireless anyday

I upgraded from a camera that connects to a monitor. I did not know what I have been missing. Before I could watch the gate and would know if someone was there because I can not c from the house. That was great for years but now that I can record when home or away and this turned my cameras into a real security. The tech service is great and the have fixed every problem and they know my product. I HAPPY
