Syrp Genie Micro.
The Genie Micro is an all-in-one smart remote for mirrorless and DSLR cameras, allowing you to control your camera from our intuitive smartphone app. Simply slide into the hot shoe, connect your camera and pair with the app. Control ISO, Aperture and Shutter speed without touching your camera for shake free ramped or even holy grail time-lapses. Using the USB tether feature of your existing camera, you can easily add remote operation. Stop and start video recordings to speed up production and maintain physical distance on set, or use remote triggering for steady stop motion. With integrated Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, the device can operate from 10 metres away and can be wirelessly updated as new functionality is developed.Holy Grail Time-Lapse.
Genie Micro will include the much-anticipated feature of being able to ramp exposure on your camera remotely while shooting time-lapse. This allows you to capture timelapses from day to night or visa versa. These shots are usually created by manually ramping exposure on the camera, but the risk is that you bump the camera and have a shakey time-lapse. Being able to control exposure from the app means you can perfectly ramp exposure without having to touch your setup.
Control Cameras Simultanously.
Using more than one Genie Micro you can control more than one camera at the same time allowing you to trigger a video or photo from the app. For a 2 camera interview using other Syrp products as your bcamera it's possible to hit record on the app and start recording on both cameras. It also allows physical distancing from your subject.
Stop Motion.
Using Live Control you can shoot stop motion sequences without having to touch your camera. Trigger the photo directly from the app with the tap of a button.
Connect via USB-C.
For more advanced control like controlling aperture, ISO and Shutter Speed use the USB-C port to connect your camera. For cameras that do not have USB-C use he supplied USB-C -> USB-A adapter.
Connect via Syrp Link Cable.
For a basic camera triggering simply use the existing Syrp link cable to trigger photos for timelapse or stop motion.
