Easy to use and gives a fresh perspective to sunrise and sunset photography.  We don't get too many in Rochester, have to make them count :-)

Great Filter

I take quite a few sunrise and sunset pictures and really needed a good quality filter for my Nikon D 3100. I have several other filters but none compare to this one. Highly recommend.

Sunrise via Tiffen

This Tiffen filter can save you some time in photoshop trying to enhance the color in a not so dramatic sunrise/set. For the modest price I think it's worth it!

Nice filter to have fun and add warm color to you sunsets.

Nice and funny

I bought it for a trip to Caribbean and shooting landscapes.  Because it is threaded, it is convenient, sturdy, and fits under a lens hood.  But for my taste, this filter adds too much color to the image.  Also transition from clear to color is almost immediate.  
I’m going back to the drop-in filters so I can better control color transition.
