Tilta Hydra Alien Mini 6" Electronic Suction Cup Kit, Titanium Gray

Introducing the Hydra Alien Mini Electronic Suction Cup (6") Kit. Inspired by the design aesthetics of the Hydra Arm, this compact shock-absorbing arm sets a new standard for lightweight car mounting systems. This miniature arm is compatible with smaller camera systems such as the DJI Action, DJI Pocket , Insta360 X, Insta360 Ace Pro and any other system that weighs up to 1.32lbs including Smartphones with our Khronos Ecosystem.

The Hydraulic Damping System utilizes automotive-grade oil imported from the US for track-level performance and is easy for users to add additional oil if needed. Included with the kit is an extender arm which is adjustable on both axes, allowing users to better position the arm for various configurations and vehicle placements. Crafted from high-performance aerospace aluminum alloy and precision CNC machined from a single piece, the entire kit weighs only 2.17 lbs (982.5g).

Included in this kit is the next-generation 6" Electronic Suction Cup, which builds on the intelligent design of the 4.5" version with a larger pad and significantly increased holding power for more flexible mounting configurations. The air-pressure monitoring system samples pressure 1000 times per second, continuously analyzing suction performance and displaying real-time status information on the wireless monitor's screen. If the system detects a drop in pressure, the internal motor automatically restores suction by pumping out additional air, helping prevent the suction cup from detaching during use. The larger 6" design delivers up to 100% greater suction force compared to the 4.5" model, providing a more secure connection for heavier payloads or challenging environments.

The upgraded high-performance motor achieves full suction in as little as 2 seconds, representing a 200% faster attachment time compared to the previous generation. Despite the increased power, the motor operates quietly at under 60dB and also automatically adapts to high-altitude conditions.

Powering the system is a long lasting internal battery that can operate for up to 19 hours under normal conditions. The battery also supports 5V/1A USB-C external power input, allowing for extended operation when connected to external power sources.

For quick and convenient removal, the suction cup now features a dedicated release button. Suction can also be released wirelessly, allowing operators to detach the mount remotely when needed. Durability has also been improved with IPX5 water resistance, allowing the suction cup to operate reliably in light rain and other challenging outdoor conditions.

For delicate surfaces, an optional "No-Mark" Suction Pad can be used to help prevent marks from forming on the mounting surface. When using this accessory, the maximum recommended payload is 66 lbs (30 kg).

- 220g Counterweight -
This 220g counterweight can be used in conjunction with the Side Arm Counterweight Clamp and/or the Quick Release Baseplate Counterweight Adapter to provide additional weight if needed when balancing your camera on a DJI RS2 or RSC2.

It can also be used with the Float System's Counter Weight Brackets and Battery Plates which allows you to fine tune your system's balance. It is compatible with any 1/4"-20 thread.
