Unified 67mm Filter Size
Nearly all TAMRON mirrorless lenses have a 67mm filter size. This allows you to use the same filter across a wide range of lenses. PL and ND filters are typically expensive, so sharing saves money. Additionally, this eliminates the need to search for caps with different diameters when switching lenses. All lenses in this series are compact, lightweight and extremely portable, making it easier when carrying multiple lenses at the same time.

A 9-blade diaphragm is configured to retain a smooth, circular-shaped aperture opening even when stopped down by two stops from the wide-open aperture. This produces a smooth-edged bokeh in background highlights.

BBAR-G2 Coating
The application of BBAR (Broad-Band Anti-Reflection) Coating for suppressing reflections on lens element surfaces minimizes unwanted flare and ghosting to deliver sharp, crisp, high-contrast images.

Zoom Lock Switch
The 25-200mm F2.8-5.6 VXD G2 has a switch that can lock the zoom ring at the 25mm focal length if desired. This prevents the unwanted extension of the lens barrel due to the weight of the lens during transportation.

Fluorine Coating
