This a really nice manual focus lens with an impressive reach, at aprox 1200 mm FF equivalent it can be a fun piece of gear to use.

It's good. Not a high dollar Sony, but good for the money

What a fun lens, especially for the price! Is it as sharp or contrasty as some of my other lenses, like my Fuji GF 120mm f/4 Macro? No, but it's still really fun! It's like being a photo sniper and the Bokeh ringlets are cool!

Fun Lens

I initially bought this with a Fuji X mount. 600mm on a crop sensor is pretty hard to work with, and it has a short focus throw which further complicates things. I bought the adapter to use it on my Sony A7 III full frame body with IBIS, and it works just fine. All metal, good build quality. Thread-on lens hood is kind of a bummer. Definitely not for beginners.

Good build quality, decent tradeoffs for the price.

My five star rating is based on the low price of this lens. Here are the plusses: 1. Small size and weight even for a mirror lens. 2. Very smooth focus ring (important for this long focal length). 3. Good sharpness and illumination for a mirror lens (there is some vignetting, but way less than other mirror lenses I have used) The resolution does not match standard telephoto lenses but is good enough.
Minuses: 1. The lens shade does not reverse mount on the lens for storage. 2. It is tricky to mount the lens on the camera most of the exterior is the focus ring and moves when twist the lens. There is only a thin 5mm fixed section at the base of the mount. 3. Some people might be put off by the donut shaped out of focus highlights. I enjoy them.

Small Lightweight Long Telephoto

I am awaiting the TA-0015 Adapter for use on my MFT Olympus OM-D EM5 Mark II camera.  Visual inspection of the lens finds it well made, solid and nicely finished.  I am anxious to test its performance.

Tokina SZX400mm Lens

Put this on my Canon 5D Mark IV camera and tested it out on a few shots. Did as expected and more. This was worth the wait.
