As with the many other ThinkTank bags and products I have purchased over the years, this bag exceeds my expectations. It's the most perfect and useful carry solution for everything Apple I can imagine.

I recently purchased a 2nd brain 11 bag so I can keep all the “things” for my ipad in one place, ready to go when needed. The bag is well thought out and feels like it will outlast the tech it holds. I only hope they make one for the larger ipad pro 12.9” in the future.

I have never found a better way to carry my 13”Mac. This bag holds so much in a very small profile. I thought I’d use it just for traveling but it turns out my iPad, cables, drives and personal items fit so well, I’m using it everyday. Another great design by Think Tank!!!

I travel a lot as a professional writer and documentary photographer. Several years ago, I marveled at the ThinkTank Airport Navigator and how it held all my camera gear—and my laptop—safely and conveniently. I also marveled at how well the bag was made. So it should not surprise that, when my old computer briefcase wore out, I tried the My 2nd Brain Briefcase. What a pleasure to see the same care and craftsmanship used here as in my Airport Navigator. It’s the perfect way to carry my trusty 13” MacBook Pro and still have room for other stuff. I use a Microsoft Surface Pro for work and carry it daily. This bag handles it well. The shoulder strap is showing a little wear after a year of daily use.

I have used the 2nd brain tablet for months and enjoyed carrying my iPad mini (or Macbook Air 11" with the zipper open. Just before departing for Tokyo, I bought the 2nd Brain 11 which can fold both the iPad mini and the 11" MBAir in the rear zippered pocket. In the front I carried my passport (in ThinkTank holder), my wallet and iPhone 6S Plus. There is a zippered phone pocket, but was a bit too tight for the 6Plus as I wanted to quickly access the phone for photos. I put a Pocket WiFi in that pocket instead. As for the Accessories compartment, it was filled with charging cables, a Mophie Battery Pack and person items, lens cleaner, chapstick, etc. The real bonus was using the padded computer compartment to carry my Leica M4 with 35mm Summicron with lens hood when I left the computer in the hotel. I carried my 2nd Brain everywhere, and made my travels so much easier. Nice work!

I haven't seen a ThinkTank product yet that I don't love. I just got the My 2nd Brain for the 13" MacBook Pro. With tighter airline carry on restrictions, the "personal item" must now be a slimline laptop case. This case definitely fits the bill, but holds an incredible amount of gear. I have the laptop, iPad, iPhone 6 Plus, as well as two external hard drives, connectors, cords, remotes, etc in an incredibly compact size. I only have two minor complaints. Under the features section it says there is a pass through so that it can rest on top of a roller. I think that feature must only come on the 15" and above, because there isn't one on mine. And #2 is that the shoulder strap only allows for vertical carry and not horizontal. Neither of these are significant to warrant a lower rating. It is definitely worth the money and the quality is second to none.

As a bagaholic, I have way more bags than I need. After seeing the ThinkTankPhoto My 2nd Brain in person, I decided to order one. This bag does not disappoint. It is a perfect carrying solution for my Retina MacBookPro 15". Good degree of padding, but not so much that it is too heavy to carry. The interior organization is, as always with ThinkTankPhoto, is excellent, with convenient slots for the power cable and other cables I usually carry with me. The front section works well for a small notebook, pens, miscellaneous small items, and if necessary an iPad. The dedicated iPhone pocket is excellent and the small pouch inside the iPhone pocket to store my earbuds is a great touch. The only downside is that this is a small, svelte bag - which means you aren't carrying much else besides your laptop and accessories. The main (non-laptop) compartment where the pockets for cables are located as enough room for a large pad of paper and a couple of magazines, but not much more. This is not a bag that you will carry your laptop and a few textbooks in, nor can I use it on those (infrequent) occasions when I also need to bring along my work (Windows) laptop as well. It is also not a bag I would bring along when I am walking around the city and need a place to stow gear and purchases. I have been using this bag on a daily basis since I got it, and have been highly satisfied. It carries much better than my messenger bags due to the vertical orientation. I hasn't eliminated the need for a separate messenger bag when the laptop is not the main event and I need a general carry bag.
